YOUR TRAVEL HEADQUARTERS My Trip to Jamaica By: Marissa B Period four Slide 3 In Jamaica I will be flying to Port Antonio, from which I will be visiting places all around there. In my meantime I will spend time at beachs swimming and enjoying the weather. Otherwise doing a lot of walking and a walking tour I will also be doing a zip line tour And before I leave I would like to have dined at one of the best restaurants in Port Antonio. Slide 4 During my time in Port Antonio, Jamaica, It will be 75-86F and minimal precipitation. Therefore I shall pack for very warm weather like shorts, tank tops, and a swimsuit but I will also bring an umbrella and some clothing that will keep me from getting cold incase there does seem to be some rain during my trip. Slide 5 Transportation I will get to Jamaica by flying, my flight will be a 16 hour flight and to kill some time I will purchase and iPad and a $100 iTunes card. Since the flight is a package it also comes with a hotel which it the Jamaica Palace Hotel. Then when I arrive to the Port Antonio airport I will rent a Alamo luxury car. Item Costs Flight (round trip) + Hotel$2,544 iPad$599.99 iTunes Card$100 Car$1,107.44 Slide 6 I will be staying at the Jamaica Palace Hotel for 13 nights and that will cost $320 a night. This will cost a total of $4,160. There is beautiful artwork all over the hotel and it includes a pool, dining areas, exquisite views and is in walking distance of beaches and coves Slide 7 Restaurants There are many restaurants in Port Antonio, but, I wanted the best so I found that the restaurants that were high in ratings, Mille Fleurs, San San Tropez, and the one inside my hotel. Slide 8 These seemed like excellent choices because I looked at the area, food and dcor and it all looked beautiful. Since everything that I am choosing to do is expensive it is expected that each meal is $60, so the total cost of restaurants and eating out should be around $2,520, for the whole time. Slide 9 I will be doing the Port Antonio Walking Tour, this tour is walking all around Port Antonio and making stops and the landmarks and other beautiful, eye catching scenery. This should cost around $35 a person. Slide 10 Surfing and Swimming In Buff Bay I will learn how to surf since it has been said that it is one of the most ideal bays for surfing, fishing, and swimming.
