To Our Families- This seems strange to me… But it has come to my

attention that Monday night a video game that is popular

amongst our students (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3)

will be having a midnight release. Of course staying

home on Tuesday after an all-niter of playing a video

game would NOT count as an excused absence from

school. We appreciate your support on this one.

SACS Survey

Our school is proudly accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges

and Schools. As a part of our SACS evaluation process, we are asking our

families to complete an online survey asking you to share opinions about

various aspects of life at St. Benedict. More information about the survey

was e-mailed to all SBA families last week. We thank you – in advance –

for your participation.

The survey website is http://kwiksurveys.com?u=sbasurvey ; We ask that

all who would like to participate, please submit your responses by

November 8, 2011. Again, Thank you!

Practice ACT

The November 12 practice ACT is full. There will be two more

practice tests offered: December 3rd and January 28. See Ms.

Brannon if you are interested.

Attention Parents of

Sophomores:

The Sophomore Retreat is this Wednesday, Nov. 9th

from 9:00

a.m. until 2:15 p.m. at St. Francis Church (in the Family Life

Center).

Students may be out of uniform for this day (jeans) so please see

those guidelines in the handbook.

Also, we ask that the girls bring a sweet or salty snack to share

and the boys bring a 12-pack of soda or water. We are

providing Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwiches for lunch.

Please make sure you have your child dropped off and picked up

on time. We need our SBA kids picked up before St. Francis

school begins dismissal.

If you have any questions, please call or email Christine Giles –

[email protected].

We look forward to a great day!
