» Challenged the Roman Catholic church, started by Martin Luther, England breaks with Rome. The Anglican Church is created and many other Protestant faiths get started… people left Europe to spread these faiths to the new world

1. What do we call the network of trade that developed between the Americas and the Eastern world after Columbus’s arrival?

2. Who invented the printing press? What did he print first?

3. What age of world history is known for its “rebirth” and renewed interest in physical world?

4. Who started the Protestant Reformation? Which faith was challenged by it?

5. Explain how each of these four things (Columbian Exchange, Printing Press, Renaissance, and Protestant Reformation) led to the colonization of the Americas.
