Three Cheers for 3 P's Award Winners As we near the end of the program's first year, the Center would like to recognize alumni who have been caught in the act of performing or implementing the 3P's (Perpetuate, Participate, and Philanthropy). These 3P's are critical to measuring how engaged alumni are with their alma mater and with each other. The 3P's also gauge the impact that alumni are having on communities as a result of their membership in the program.

The following individuals are alumni who have gone above and beyond the simple completion of the program and seek to serve as passionate ambassadors of the Center by: Perpetuating volunteer opportunities; Participating in trainings and events to empower themselves and others; and contributing Philanthropy of time, resources, or services.

Top Overall 3P's Performer: Nesia Mahenge (CH I - Tanzania) Top Perpetuate Performer: Nesia Mahenge (CH I - Tanzania) Top Participate Performer: Hellena Namboge (CH2 - Uganda) Top Philanthropy Performer: a tie between Gahimbare Vestine (CH I - Burundi)

and Azza Nadir (CH2 - Sudan)

The following country alumni engagement was calculated based upon a formula of the number of alumni who had engaged in one or more of the 3P's divided by the total number of alumni from that particular country. That way, even countries with a lower number of alumni could compete with countries that have a high number of alumni.

First Place: Tanzania - 94% alumni engagement rate Second Place: Burundi - 78% alumni engagement rate Third Place: Uganda - 72% alumni engagement rate
