TRANSFER AND ARTICULATION AGREEMENTBETWEEN
SUFFOLK COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE,AND
MOLLOY COLLEGELOCATED AT

A. Purpose of This Agreement:
The Joint Admissions Program stipulates that students accepted at Suffolk Community Collegeare also accepted at Molloy upon completion of an associate degree with a minimum GPA of 2.0.(See item A)
Acceptance into the following programs is as stated:
• Education GPA 2.5From: Liberal Arts & Sciences: Education (Child Study); 5 semesters atMolloy
• Health Service Leadership GPA 2.5From: Fitness Specialist; Food Service Admin: Dietetic Tech. or Rest.Management; Health Info. TechlMed.Records;Medical Assisting;Nursing;Occupational TherapyAss't;Opthalmic Dispensing; Physical TherapistAss't, Recreational Leadership;Veterinary Science Tech.
• Nursing GPA 3.0From: Liberal Arts & Sciences; minimum 5 semesters at Molloy
• Nursing for RN's GPA 2.5From:Nursing
• Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology GPA 2.7From: Liberal Arts & Sciences
• Social Work GPA 2.7, social work application, interview with directorFrom: Human Service Program
B. Eligibility Guidelines:
In keeping with SCCC and Molloy College's desire to provide the best advisement and aseamless transition from Suffolk to Molloy, SCCC students must declare their intent to attendMolloy in the SCCC counseling office, after completing a maximum of24 credits.
C. Joint Responsibilities
The counseling office at SCCC will notify the Associate Director of Admissions at Molloy of thestudent's intent. The Assistant Director will subsequently contact said student and complete aMolloy College status sheet for himlher. This process will reinforce a seamless transfer. SCCCstudents will also be invited to Molloy for an interview, for upcoming events and a campus tour.Suffolk CCC student identification cards will be welcomed at the Molloy College library.
A member of the Admissions Office at Molloy will meet at SCCC with students in the JointAdmissions Program at least once per semester to provide academic program counseling.
D. Molloy will provide students admitted to the Joint Admissions Program with:
• Will have their Molloy application fee waived• Will be given transfer credit for their entire associate's degree (the credits as
outlined in the SCCC catalogue)• Will be permitted to register with our continuing students provided that Molloy
has received the non-refundable tuition deposit.• Will be reviewed for transfer scholarships ranging from $1500-$5000 for full time
students transferring with a minimum 3.0 GPA.• Students who are members of PHI THEPA KAPPA will receive $1,000 a year in
scholarship money.
E. Suffolk CCC will provide:
SCCC will notify Molloy each semester, of students who have been accepted into JointAdmissions. Official transcripts will be forwarded to the Molloy College Admissions Office forany Joint Admissions student completing his/her last semester at SCCC. Final transcripts will beforwarded upon completion of all coursework at Suffolk.
F. Articulation for Transfer Students not participating in this agreement:
Molloy College will make every effort to facilitate transfer of SCCC graduates not participatingin Joint Admissions. Molloy will provide academic program counseling. The SCCC studentmust file an application with Molloy and apply in the usual manner oftransfer.
G. Term of this Agreement
This agreement shall automatically renew from year to year, until such time that either party,after discussio ini m 3 months notice, decides t .r mv lvement.
