Board Director and President & CEO of YASREFMohammad S. Alshammari

Mohammad S. Alshammari has more than 30 years of experience with Saudi Aramco where he has worked in many entrepreneurial and leadership capacities and locations. He has developed strong commercial, strategy, project management and business acumen and constructive dealings with all of Saudi Aramco partners. He is currently the President & CEO and Board Member of Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Co. (YASREF) Ltd.

Mohammad also served as the President & CEO and Board Member of Saudi Refining Inc. in Houston, USA; Director on the Boards of the Japanese company Showa Shell, Aramco Services Company and also Motiva Enterprise company; and a member of the steering committees overseeing the development of the Fujian Project in China and Sadara Chemicals Company.

Mohammad assumed a number of progressive leadership positions including general supervisor of Estimating Services Division; project manager for gasoline facilities; senior representative in Hong Kong and China leading the developed the Fujian Project; director of the JV Development & Support Department and led the sale of the Saudi Aramco share in Motor Oil Hellas in

Greece and the purchase of a ~15% share in Showa Shell in Japan; and, team manager responsible for the development of the Saudi Aramco Refining and Marketing Strategy up to 2030.

Mohammad holds a BS degree in civil engineering from KFUPM and an MS degree in Construction Engineering Management from Oregon State University. He also successfully completed his executive business administration at Harvard Business School
