“Profitability Through Safety”

Safer Driver Series

For most of us, driving a motor vehicle is the most dangerous undertaking of our

lives.

Statistically we have a 70 times greater chance of dying during any motor vehicle

trip than during a commercial airline flight.

In 2011 there were 32,367 motor vehicle

fatalities in the United States. This

represents a 2% decrease over 2010.

Despite improvements, it still means that

someone dies in a motor vehicle collision

every 16 minutes in the US.

By the time you have completed this training module

two more people will be killed in motor vehicle

collisions.
