Bridges by pml GmbH are manufactured of aluminium extruded sections and are suited for the most different applications.

We also design bridges including their underloads designed for a working load of 5.0 KN/m 2, which fulfill German and inter- national design specifications (DIN 1072, EC 9, BS, AFOR as well as US standard). A polyurethane coating with corrugated surface guarantee anti-slipping safety and walking comfort.

The building components of the supporting framework can be anodized in different shades of colour, depending on the aesthetic require-ments – for example naturally saddened, gold, bronze or RAL powder-coated. Furthermore there are numerous variances of facing to be chosen from, either perforated aluminium plate, plexiglass, safety glass or plastic sheets of tarpaulin. pml makes your structural design and bridges match optimally with the environ-ment – safely and good looking.

pml designed bridges are easy to be assem-bled, are resistant to wear and tear and can be used repeatedly. They stand out by a mini-mum of mounting and transporting efforts. A bridge measuring 14,3 meters for example can be transported on an europallet and the individual components can be mounted in a trouble-free way. Again and again this has proven to be a great advantage especially for events on the occasion of which rapid mount-ing and dismounting is required as well as the capacity of adapting the device, like a finishing line bridge for cycle racing. Our flexible bridges are also very popular as mere advertising spaces in car sports and in motorcycle sports. pml bridges – assembled in a flash, nice and perfect in seconds.

The individual elements of pml designs can be added module by module, so that they can be adapted to the respective project and the con- structional requirements. The elements look nice and allow for flexible use, so the modular pml solutions are trendy and unique world-wide. All designs use basic units similar in design, so that the number of aluminium extruded sections required is limited to a minimum what is also advantageous from an economic point of view. The module procedure guarantees a minimum of mounting and transporting efforts – for this reason the pml designs are also suited for con-struction sites, garden shows or cultural large scale events as well as sports large scale events where they are used temporarily. Thanks to the extruded section with saltwater proof alloy AlMgSi they are maintenance-free and resistant to wear and tear, so that a reli-able cost analysis covering the entire time of use is possible which results in low long-term maintenance cost resp. in positive life-cycle costing.
