Garter st, in the round: K 1 round, P 1 round.

Hat: Cast on 105-110 sts on needle size 3 mm with 2 threads Cotton Viscose. Work 1 round stocking st and continue in Rib, K2/P3. When piece measures 5 cm adjust number of sts to 102-110 sts and change to needle size 3.5 mm. Continue with 1 thread.Round 1: *1 YO, K2 tog*, repeat from *-*.







Round 2: K.Repeat round 1 and 2 until piece measures 24-25 cm. Now continue in garter st – see above - at the same time dec 10 sts evenly on every other round a total of 3 times = 72-80 sts. Now work 2 rounds, knitting all sts tog 2 by 2 = 18-20 sts. Cut the thread and pull through remaining sts. Tighten thread and fasten.

Continue in Rib (this means K over K and P over P without any displacement) at the same time dec for the toe as follows 3 sts before each marking thread: K2 tog, K2 (the MT is between these 2 sts), slip 1 st as if to knit, psso. Dec. on every other row a total of 3 times and then on every row a total of 5-6-7 times = 19-12-14 sts left on row. On the following row K all sts tog 2 by 2. Cut the thread and pull it through the remaining 5-6-7 sts two times and sew the thread.

The sock measures approx. 46-48-52 cm.

When piece measures 8 cm inc for thumb each side of 3rd and 4th rib-st (these 2 sts = thumb sts) – inc by making 1 YO, on next round work YO into back of loop and incorporate inc sts in rib as you go along. Repeat the inc on every other round a total of 6-7 times = 14-16 thumb sts (a total of 19-21 rib sts). When piece measures 13-14 cm slip the 14-16 thumb sts on a stitch holder, on next round cast on 2 new sts behind thumb sts = 42-49 sts. Continue in rib and pattern as before. When piece measures 17-18 cm - adjust to after 3rd row in M.1 – work 1 round stocking st, AT THE SAME TIME inc 8-7 sts evenly on M.1 = 50-56 sts. Change to double pointed needles size 3 mm and continue in rib, K1/P1, on all sts. When rib measures 3-4 cm cast off with K over K and P over P. Piece measures approx 20-22 cm.

THUMB: Slip the 14-16 thumb sts on double pointed needles size 3 mm and pick up 4 sts in the edge behind these = 18-20 sts. Work rib, K1/ P1 in the round for approx 2-3 cm, cast off with K over K and P over P.

Decrease tip (apply to beret): First dec are made in the1st and 3rd P part in M.2. Second dec are made in the 2nd and 4th P part in M.2. Dec alternately like this so that finally you have dec 5 sts in all P parts (= P1 remains in every P part).

BERETBeret: Knit in the round. Cast on loosely 144 sts on circular needle size 2 mm with Alpaca. K1 round and then work M.1. When piece measures 3 cm work M.2. At the same time inc 1 st in every other P part on every 6th row a total of 6 times – read inc.tip above = 216 sts. GLOVESLeft glove: Knit in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 56-60 sts on double pointed needles size 2 mm with Alpaca. Work like this: P3, K1, M.1 over the next 24 sts, * P3, K1 *, repeat *-* until end of round. When piece measures 3 cm work M.2 over sts in M.1, the remaining sts in stocking stitch. When piece measures 12 cm inc for thumb like this: inc 1 st on each side of next to last st on round on every 4th row a total of 6-7 times – inc by making YO, on next round knit YO twisted (i.e. knit in back loop instead of in the front to prevent holes) = 13-15 thumb sts. When piece measures 17-18 cm slip these 13-15 sts + 1 st on each side (= 15-17 sts) on a thread and cast on 3 new sts over these = 56-60 sts. DROPS Needle size 7 mm – or needle size needed to make 10 sts x 28 rows in garter stitch with Puddel on 10 x 10 cm.

Garter stitch: Knit all rows back and forth on needle

Scarf: Cast on 35 sts on needle size 7 mm with Puddel. Work in garter stitch – see explanation above. When piece measures 30 cm inc 1 st in each side on every 4th row a total of 2 times = 39 sts. When piece measures 88 cm dec 1 st in each side on every 4th row a total of 2 times = 35 sts. Cast off when piece measures 120 cm. Put each end of the scarfen toward each other and fasten with some stitches.

Hat: Worked in the round on circular needle. Cast on 116-128 sts on circular needle size 4 mm with 2 threads Alpaca and 1 thread Kid Silk. K 2 rounds and continue in rib, K2/P2. When piece measures 10 cm P 1 round, K 1 round, at the same time dec 36-40 sts evenly (dec approx every 3rd st) = 80-88 sts. Change to circular needle size 5.5 mm and continue in berry pattern M.1. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures approx 26-28 cm continue in garter st – see above – on all sts, at the same time dec 8 sts evenly on every other round a total of 3 times = 56-64 sts. Now work all sts tog 2 by 2 on every round 3 times = 7-8 sts. Cut the thread, pull through remaining sts and fasten.

Scarf: Cast on 40 sts on needle size 5.5 mm with 2 threads Alpaca and 1 thread Kid Silk. K 5 rows on all sts (row 1 = RS). Continue in berry pattern M.2, with 4 garter sts each side. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures approx 139 cm, K 5 rows on all sts and cast off loosely.
