What we did: Conference started at half eight every
morning and ended at half five. During the conferences we negotiated
resolutions (solutions to world issues) with the other delegates.
We presented them to our committees and the resolutions that passed were brought to the General Assembly on the final day.

Who we metThere were students from Germany,
England, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. We became friendly with them and still talk!
The teachers made useful contacts with other European schools.

What we learned and why we recommend it:
We improved our public speaking skills. We learned about new cultures and
countries which made us more understanding of difference.
We saw the world from a different point of view.
We also learned to negotiate which included our nightly curfew.
Its a useful learning experience outside of a classroom environment.
