Definition of Terms

Extended PseudoStereo (EPS)

The Incredible Mono module (I-Mono) generates two channels from onemono input signal. When the sound of the mono input signal is processed, the listener gets the impression that the sound is essentially a stereosignal.

Extended SpatialStereo (ESS)

The listener gets the impression of a sound reproduced by two virtualspeakers, positioned at a larger distance between each other thanbetween the actual speakers. So, the stereo image is expanded by thiswidening sound effect.

AVL The AVL reduces the audio input signal in the MAIN channel (L, R) to aselectable maximum output level if it exceeds this level at the input of thestage.
