UNTILL THEN KEEP IT PRESSING.
NOW PLUG THE USB DRIVE TO PC AND OPEN IT, THE LOGGING FILE
WILL APPEARED. THEN RIGHT CLICK AND OPEN THE SAME USING
EXCEL.
A MICROSOFT EXCEL SPREADSHEET WILL BE OPENED WITH ALL REAL
TIME READINGS OF THE CONNECTED CHANNELS.
NOTE: THE DAM SERIES IS FACTORY CALIBRATED FOR STRAIN, PRESSURE,
LOAD, TORQUE, LVDT ETC. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE CALIBRATION
MENU. FOR RE- CALIBRATION PLEASE CONTACT TO SUPPLIER, AUTHORIZED
DEALER.

1.2 SOFTWARE INSTALLATION MENU
-3 SOFTWARE FILES
1. Please download all the above three file and place them in a New Folder On Desktop.
2. Connect the RS-232 wire to Serial Port of The Desktop PC as well as The 9-pin Serial port of the Strain Indicator
3. Please keep the Indicator in SWITCH OFF Position while connecting Connectors.
4. Now Switch ON the Indicator
5. LCD display will Indicate STRAIN CHANNEL 1-4 NOS
6. Press MENU First,Display will Indicate TARE ALL with YES &NO options NO
7. Press ENTER Key, This will Tare all the Initial Offset values and YES place the starting NO LOAD
values of strain gauges connected as 00000 microstrains

8. Now Open the Software Folder as placed on the PC Desktop.
- These 3 file will be
opened.
Click the File and the Software will start
working.,The Software Window will be displayed as below upon clicking the ICON,please do not click rest of the two files
9. In Column DATA TRANSFER MESSAGE if Data Transfer from Indicator is coming properly then the message will be as…. Data coming ….OK, in case of any transfer error it will be Data Coming…Not Responding
10. In case of Data Transfer Error, Press Set UP MENU and click PORT as
Indicated below.

COM-1 or COM-2(in case your PC has more than 1 COM ports) and Baud
