Smooth blades are best utilizedin normal field conditions.They aremore economical, wear longer, weighmore than cutout blades, and cut cropresidue evenly.

Cutout blades are more aggressiveand trap residue better than smoothblades.

FRAME

The Main Frame is constructed of 4"x4"square tubing and 4" structural channelwhich is trussed braced and reinforced toresist twisting and bending.

GANGS

Rugged 3"x5" gang frame tubes providerigid support for gang components. Gangsare factory assembled to 750 ft. lbs. andlocked securely with slotted nuts.

AXLES

Axles are made from 11⁄8" square coldrolled steel to insure straightness and tokeep bearings and discs in alignment.

ANGLE OF CUT

Adjustments from 13° to 21° in 4°increments are made without tools byremoving only one pin per gang.

VERSATILITY

The Tongue Clevis height can be adjustedto match the draw-bar height on theTractor.

The Quadraseal Wheel Hubsare an exclusive ATHENS PLOW design for increasedBearing life and reduction of downtime. OurQUADRASEAL Wheel Hubs offer maximum protectionfrom dirt and trash by combining a triple lip seal with apress fitted external trash flinger.
