ESTONIA IS TAKING IT EVEN FURTHERFrom the end of 2014, people from all over the world can

apply for Estonian e-identity (or e-recidency, as we call it).

Just during the first 24h of the pre-registration, more than 6,000 people from 168 countries expressed their interest

in Estonian e-residency.

This is seen as a great opportunity by foreign investors

Estonian economic environment.

THE MIND-BLOWING SUCCESS OF SWEDBANKIn January 2013, for the first time in Swedbank’s history, the number of online contacts through

Mobile-ID exceeded the contacts through office network. By then, they had 600,000 active online

bank users and more than 80,500 clients had

downloaded their mobile bank application. This led to

a massive reduction in paper usage.

Using SK’s solutions, you can give digital signatures on behalf of yourself and your company anywhere in the world. The time of

the signature and validity information is added to the document.

Validity confirmations of certificates issued are preserved in a security log that allows for verifying them whenever and wherever

necessary.

Authentication using Mobile-IDThe Certification Authority checks the status of the certificates from which the query comes from.

In case they are valid, the confirmation is given and the user receives a check code

from the mobile operator via SMS.

After entering the Mobile-ID PIN code, the

user can proceed with using the e-service.

Digital signature using Mobile-IDA document fingerprint is made of the document to be signed.

The user signs the document using

Mobile-ID. The information system

sends the document fingerprint and the user’s certificate to the SK server.

The SK server verifies the validity of the user’s certificate. If the certificate is valid, a validity confirmation is issued.

The SK server records the issued

validity confirmation in its database where it can be verified afterwards. The document fingerprint contained in the validity confirmation does not contain information on the contents of

the signed document.
