Our Process Shockoe uses a Hybrid Agile Methodology to deliver its engagements. Our approach is designed in such a way as to provide early understanding to key stakeholders of the design and core functionality of applications to get buy-in and iterate and enhance during the development phase.

(1) Define: Work with stakeholders to define the business & technical requirements, which

will be used during the development and testing of this project

(2) Design: Designate UI/UX Designers to review the look and feel for any initiative and provided any suggested updates based on Mobile UI design standards and best practices.

(3) Develop: Based on the User Stories, Business Requirements and Technical Requirements, and Designs; create a sprint plan for the development phase. This approach will allow the team to deliver results quickly by focusing on short development iterations.

(4) Deploy: Prior to deploying the final solution(s), we go through full product functionality and integration testing. The development team relies on the platform for testing and debugging.

Citigroup Good Technology (Blackberry Enterprise Solutions) Setting the Stage Citi is the largest multinational investing banking and financial services company in the United States. It is recognized by many as an industry leader with global reach and a long list of services including personal banking, insurance, investment banking, commercial lending, and more. Citi relies on their competitive advantage of delivering state-of-the-art technology tools to their clients and staff and as such signed up to develop application on the Appcelerator Platform and containerize these with Good Technology. The goal was to deliver mobile apps that feature leading-edge capabilities so employees can manage work effectively on the fly. What We Created Through Shockoe’s extensive experience in Appcelerator and Enterprise Mobility management, Citi reached out to the team to help develop a way to use the Good MDM solution with Appcelerator Apps. Shockoe was able to provide development tips on architecture and infrastructure changes, give time-saving guidance, and send vital application development expertise their way. Shockoe was able to create a Good Container for applications developed on the Appcelerator platform. Results Mobile security and manageability are serious priorities for Citi and it’s for this reason that they chose to work with Shockoe and Good and why they continue to adopt new apps using the Appcelerator solution. Now part of the Blackery Suite, Good continues to be a leader in Enterprise security. BES allows the company to use groups to manage their policies, certificates, and software configurations – across multiple platforms, if they so choose.

Farmers Insurance 21st Century App

Setting the Stage 21st Century Insurance is part of the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies, a leading U.S. insurer of automobiles, homes and small businesses and also provides a wide range of other insurance and financial services products that has been operating since 1958. It serves more than 10 million households with more than 20 million individual policies across all 50 states through over 50,000 exclusive and independent agents and nearly 24,000 employees. What We Created

Shockoe created a mobile tool made for 21 st century customers which allows them to view policy with a 24/7 access to information, view copy of ID card; pay current insurance bill electronically via debit or credit card, or transfer money from a bank account; report a claim, document claim details; and have access to roadside services assistance. Results: Since partnering with 21 st Century Insurance, we assessed all areas of the financial and insurance services to enable all areas of the business with connected technology to improve efficiency. Shockoe will remain the strategic partner responsible for implementing the long term vision managing all aspects of the design and development

Enterprise Mobile Strategy

Setting the Stage One of the nation’s top 10 largest banks, had different business divisions and teams developing mobile applications to serve their unique market and user groups. Over time, the number of unique applications being developed at this bank had grown exponentially. The business recognized an opportunity to centralize mobile application projects under one program management office to socialize best practices, share resources and integrate certain application functions that cross markets and user groups. What We Created Initially, Shockoe presented the business rationale for centralizing certain functions within a central program management office. Shockoe assessed the global program need, built a sustainable service model that can scale with the business, and built a platform (Envision) and service model to expedite the cost and time to market for mobile application initiatives. Results We remain a strategic partner positioned for long term growth and continue to provide guidance and workflow, manage budget, and share communications in order to support new mobile applications and releases.
