The Mobile Robot Guide Presents:
Mobile Robot Preview
 Page of 1 7 www.mobilerobotguide.com
Going to ProMat / Automate next week? We’ve done all of the homework for you and built the definitive list of mobile robot
vendors to visit while you’re at the show AND we’ll be live blogging from the show all week with the latest news and
announcements so that you don’t miss anything mobile robot related at the event.
See a Record Number of Mobile Robots on the Showfloor!
It’s going to be a record setting event next week at the 2019 Automate and 2019 ProMat shows in Chicago with over 35 companies displaying some form of mobile robotics in their booths. The mobile robot market is exploding, and this will be your best chance to see live demonstrations of the latest technology.
At ProMat 2019 you'll have the opportunity to see a variety of autonomous mobile solutions: everything from AGV's to autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) to the latest autonomous fork truck solutions. The core technology embedded in these vehicles has made them smarter and more powerful than ever before. As collaborative robots, most of the systems are safe to operate around
humans (note: there are are still some solutions which are designed to operate in enclosed spaces while
moving shelving to human pack out stations). Unlike AGV's, which are restricted to pre-defined operational lanes in the factory or warehouse, AMR's can operate safely in aisle-ways crowded with humans, fork-trucks, tuggers and
other AMR’s.
So put on your walking shoes, zero your pedometer and get ready to hustle through the aisles at the two largest, co-located shows for industrial automation and material handling in North America.

Are you in the market for a mobile robot solution? In addition to covering the show, our founder and editor, Mike
Oitzman, will be presenting a session on “How to select a mobile robot”, Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 11 AM (CT). If you’re in the market for a mobile robot, this is one of the must see sessions at the show. Mike will be on stage along with Ash Sharma of Interact
Analysis. Ash will be presenting his latest research on the mobile robot market. Mike will outline how to prioritize your requirements for
mobile material handling and then build a credible selection process as you shop for the right mobile robotics solution partner.
How to plan your time at the show
The combined ProMat and Automate shows are a huge event with hundreds of exhibitors. To help you plan your time we put together a session outline and a mobile robot exhibitor list to help you quickly find the vendors and the presentations that you want to see at the show.
