The Big Picture In this chapter I’m going to explain about the big picture. I’m going to teach you how it works together. So here’s the big picture; here’s the big picture of Mobile Affiliation and everything start with the merchant right here, you see it?

Basically the merchant have something to offer, maybe he got a weight loss site or maybe he got an App. And the merchant wants more conversions. He wants more and more people to join his offer, so he contact the affiliate network and say something like “hey I need you to get me each conversions and I can pay you $1 or $2 per conversion”. You’re a part of the affiliate network and actually you got the opportunity to promote the merchant offer. You got the

opportunity to get him more conversions, install in case it’s an app and it can also be a registration if, it’s a dating site and you going to do it by driving traffic with the M network right here. So this is the big idea, as we discussed it’s very easy. So actually your job is very simple. All you have to do is send traffic and get conversions. So here what you need to do: Step 1: Choose a great offer to promote. This is the first step that you have to take. Step 2: Send Traffic. You need buy media to get some traffic to you offer. Step 3: Optimize your campaigns. Track conversions and split test. You want to tweak and optimize your campaigns for maximum profits. That’s it only three steps. This is the idea and here is how you going to do it:

Join CPA Network In this chapter I’m going to teach you how to join the CPA network. It’s very easy and simple. Everyone gets accepted and here’s some mobile CPA network that I personally work with. Mobpartner: In my opinion Mobpartner.com is the right CPA network for beginners. They have a great user interface and great support also so just join Mobpartner.com.

So first of all choose yourself a logging name, after that you know, insert your details like email, choose a password, a very fine password and now in the account type I need you to choose media buyer. Basically it means you’re going to send traffic to the CPA offers, that’s it. Here you should describe your activity just copy what about, you can copy it. After that how did you hear about us, choose

search engine and here, entry is individual and insert your personal details, make sure it’s real. If you have Skype ID it’s awesome, just put it here and you know, click next. Now you need to tell Mobpartner what is you main traffic source, so it doesn’t really matter right now but just put Buzzcity, this is the first network I’m going to show you and the reason that it’s very easy and its very simple is they got a great easy user interface that’s it, just click next.



And since you don’t really know what is your type of content, categorizes, country and other stuff, here is, and again it doesn’t

matter you can edit it later, so I’m going to show you what to put here, games, categorize and mobile content, entertainment, sexy adult, dating and others. Here is what countries, it doesn’t really matter right now, but anyway choose for now: United State of course, Canada and Australia, ok, that’s it for now, click next. Ok, here again it doesn’t really matter but put, United States, Canada and Australia, IOS, Android of course Symbian; mobile contact, dating and adult. Commission’s types choose everything and save. So this is all the registration process, very easy, simple, you can do it.



Choosing a good offer Ok, so we are in the first step, the first step is choose a good offer to promote and guys its very very important so please pay close attention. The offer is the very first step to build successful campaigns. And I’m not telling you that if you get great offers you’re going to get great results, what I’m telling you is that you have to have good offer in order to get good results, is it make sense? So how to choose a good offer to promote? You need to follow very simple instructions. Ok first of all you need to choose an offer that pays between seventy cent to one fifty and the reason is you want to get a lot of conversions first. You need to get data and statistic to work walk with ok. And I really recommend you to start with small countries. You should target small countries like Iraq, Israel, Iran, Libya, South Africa and don’t choose offers that target USA and the reason for this is you want to control the market and in the USA you have many more competitors. And don’t worry I will show you how to find countries to target. Ok, so here is how to find country to target and we are going to use the campaign planner tool by Buzzcity. I’m going to show you how it works later on. So here are very simple instructions, as I mentioned before you should target small countries. And small country is country with

reach of 0.3 million to 3 million and choose countries with Add serve up to 100 million. And I’m going to take you to the campaign planner and show you how to find country to target.

Ok, let’s get into Buzzcity, just type in Google Buzzcity, so here is the main page, the home page and you want to go to the campaign planner right here.



Ok so right here on the right side you can see the top markets and here is where the big money is in and for now I want you to focus on smaller countries because I want you to get more experience. After you get some experience with the small countries, you could move on to the top markets right here.



So now I need you to find some small countries. So here is Algeria and Portugal, lets, Algeria, Spain sorry, so Algeria is right here and you can see reach is 0.76 and Ad serve is 26 million and its fine, its good country to start with and again I need you to find countries with reach up to 3 million and Ad serve up to 100 million ok.

So guys here’s your first mission, please make a list of countries you can work with. Remember you need to get up to reach of up to 3 million and Ad up to 100 million and basically more Ad serve is better ok. Ok so, just do it, so that’s it for now, see you in the next chapter.



MobPartner Choosing an Offer Ok, so now I’m going to show you how you can actually to choose an offer to promote and before you choose an offer, you need to know what traffic source you going to drive traffic with and what type of traffic you’re going to send, so we need to set it up over here ok. And if you remember when you registered you set up Buzzcity as your traffic source so now we are going to do it again so click on create a new traffic source and here you need to choose an Ad network so choose again Buzzcity.

Ok next, type of content, you want to choose again or something or use it doesn’t really matter and categorises. So choose mobile content and entertainment and other for now here and in the countries, if you remember in the previous chapter I told you to make a list of potential countries that you can work with. So I hope you did it, if not you know, go back to the pervious chapter and read it again.



So I will put here Algeria and maybe South Africa and Australia also good country to start with and in this part, leave this part alone.

So top 3 countries, choose, it doesn’t matter, Australia, US, blackberry and android category, mobile content, entertainment, here check everything and click next, so you set up a new traffic source.



So now you actually can subscribe for offer so go to campaigns.

And you have 167 options right here ok, it’s awesome. So you actually got a lot of opportunities, a lot of offers to promote and you can, you know, filter it by keywords, OS, category, country, commission type, ok so choose an offer to promote.



Just choose one, let’s say I want IOS, let’s go with dating , it works great. So let’s say I want to promote this offer, SKOUT- an iPhone App and you know for now it’s just an example so it doesn’t mean you should choose the same offer as I do because it doesn’t say it works. So let’s say I want to promote this offer right here, first of all you need to read this to know what the merchant allow and whatnot.



So there is restriction, you can’t send innocent traffic and no adult traffic ok.

Daily type in by publisher, $80. Restrictions, this is the most important part, if you like this, if you want to work with this offer just click on subscribe. Make sure you read the terms, if you agree, click over here and subscribe, you should be accepted by the publisher. So it will take up to 25 hour, for now look for another campaign, another opportunities, and make sure you read all the restrictions and know what the offers is about.



So for now my mission to you is to subscribe for 5 to 10 different offers. So you will get some tools, some offers to work with. I recommend you to start with Mozzok, subscribe for Mozook, its really awesome for beginners and I have, tens of students that work with this offer and make great money so you should do it too, this is my two cents to you for now yes.



Click subscribe, make sure you read the terms, if you agree subscribe. Subscribe to 5 to 10 different offers and see you in the next chapter.



Signup BuzzCity Ok, so now I’m going to show you how to sign up for Buzzcity and Buzzcity; basically Buzzcity is a global advertising network and we’re going to use this network to drive traffic into the merchant’s offer ok. And so to signup you should click on signup now right there and it will jump to this page and here you just, you know, fill in your details ok.



Please make sure it’s your real details, if you don’t have a company name, insert your full name, full private name; company address, it would be your home address, and please just fill in your real details. If you don’t have any website put Google.com and here you should check the advertiser option ok. And just click I accept, create my account. That’s it.



BuzzCity Navigation Alright, let’s go, so now I want to show you real quick the Buzzcity user interface and actually it’s very simple. So right here next to the home tab you have the advertiser tab and here you can see your advertiser info, your campaign settings, spending report ect. Of course you have a quick access into the campaign planner. So here at the advertiser info you can see your total spending, exposers, clicks, CTR, it would be you know like.

Right there you can manage your campaigns, here your campaigns should appear right here and if you want to create a new campaign

you can just click here on the yellow button ‘create new camping’ and we will really get into this later.

Right there you have your settings and spending reports and it’s very very important, we will get into this part also and your Ads balance. Ok so, here of course the campaign planner and the campaign planner by the way is your best friend ok, so I just wanted to show you how buzzcity looks like and see you in the next chapter.



BuzzCity and Mobpartner Callback URL

Ok, not its time to set up your call-back URL and basically your call-back URL allow you to track transactions directly in your buzzcity reporting dash board. And it’s very simple to do it and you have to do it. So guys please pay close attention, it’s very very important for your success. So right here in in the Buzzcity interface go into the advertiser tab and into the settings section.



Right here you should enable the click code and click code for CPA networks, make sure the partner type is Mobpartner and click submit. Here you should allow Email Alerts so click over here, make sure this is your email address and click submit.



Ok so now go back into your Mobpartner account, it’s time to set up the call back URL. So go into traffic sources, call back, right here and select your traffic source, remember, and right here you should click on ‘Get the Buzzcity call-back URL’, here you should insert your partner ID and MD5 hash.



So go back into your Buzzcity account, copy your partner ID right here at the top, put it right here and MD5 hash is this. So copy it also and paste it over here, now you should click generate URL.

So copy your affiliate URL and in Advance Mode turn it on, you should activate when the transaction is created and paste your call back URL. You should paste this right here and save, configuration.



Ok that’s it, now you set up your call back URL and as I said it’s easy but it’s very very important. So guys read this chapter again and make you did everything correct, it’s important and it’s easy so just do. See you in the next chapter.



First Campaign Ok so how are you guys? Hope you’re doing great because in this chapter I’m going to show you how to set up you campaigns and how to launch it to your market and guys I need you to pay close attention and stay focus. If you got you know a cell phone around you just turn it off or you know, put it away from you. So let’s start. Right here on the advertiser tab go into my campaigns. And right here all your campaigns should appear ok, but since I open a new account for you guys, a new Buzzcity account, just click on create new campaign and you need to fill in all your campaign details.



So go back into Mobpartner and go into your offers that you want to promote, in my case I want to promote Mozook ok and as I said before Mozook is a great offer for beginners, to work with and if you can you can try this offer.

And again you should read all this and know, you should know what this offer is all about and what is allowed and what is not allowed, ok. So for example adult traffic is not allowed and instant traffic is also not allowed. Right here you can see under restrictions what is allowed and what is not allowed in details.



Ok here in screen shots you can see how this offer looks like.



Anyway if you remember in the previous chapter I told you I’m going to promote Mozook in Qatar ok. And you remember this ok. You should remember this and you should already have a list to work with ok, here you should fill five to ten you know countries, I filled in only two to show you how it works and what you should do but I need you to fill five to ten countries here. So I choose to work with Qatar and there is a great reach and Ad served and so let’s start. So Qatar, click on promote it

And here you should go into creatives and right here you can see all the creatives for Mozook. For each countries there are other



creatives. Choose Qatar. I want to promote Mozook in Qatar and the creative type is banner ok. So right here the title of your campaign, you should name it after your offer name, ok so in my case it’s Mozook in Qatar.

Right here device class, make sure it mobile devices and Banner type: image. Right here you don’t want larger Ads for smart phones and tablets ok, so check it off.



Right here chose a banner, we should upload the banner. Just upload the largest banner you have and it will adjust automatically.



Ok so now you need to know your target URL ok and paste it over here. So let’s look for your target URL in Mozook. So you look for your banner. This is my banner so you need to copy the target URL from here ok; copy it and paste it over here right, this is your affiliate link.

Right here you need to look for Qatar ok, it depends, in my case I’m looking for Qatar and as you can see the bib is $0.01 and here in the device targeting, I will get into it later but for now in others you need to exclude proxies browser traffic ok, so check this and all this. And if you remember Mozook don’t allow adult traffic ok, let me show you it again so one second. Here, adult traffic is not allowed; Mozook doesn’t allow adult traffic so don’t check it. That’s it very simple right. It should take you up to five minutes to do it alone. Maybe in the first time, in the first few times, its little bit complicated but after few times it will be easy.



Then click on the yellow button submit and yes. Ok so right here my budget is $5.00 per day ok. You should start with a small budget and with $5.00 and bid of $0.01 you can get 500 clicks ok. And you know it’s a lot of clicks for $5.00. So I will wait a few



hours to get approve by Buzzcity and I will show you what to do next. See you in the next chapter.



Campaign Planner and offers research I just showed you the big picture and how everything works and what we going to do and how to set up everything but guys now it’s time to invest, to earn money to work. It is a business ok, so you need to invest time and, think about your actions and your steps and how you going to do this and don’t forget I’m here and I’m giving you the best stuff out there so use it. I’m not holding anything back so please take action because it works, it work for me, it work for my students so it should also work for you and as I already said, it’s very simple and it’s very easy but you have to take action, you have to do something. In this chapter we are going to do some research and I’m going to show you how I choose countries and how to use the campaign planner and how to choose an offer and this is going to be a little bit more longer chapter of course so please stay focus and pay close attention, so let’s start. Let’s go to Mobpartner and right there go to your traffic sources, by now you have probably registered and subscribed for some offers. I subscribed for Mozook and I really recommend you to subscribe for Mozook because it’s a great offer, it works great and I work with this offer for a long time and also my students work with this offer and the reason is that this offer is converting and it’s very simple and it’s perfect for beginners. And I really recommend you to subscribe for Mozook and work with this offer. Of course this offer will not make you millionaire and it’s, take some time but it’s an awesome offer.



As I said before you need to read the restrictions. Every country has different restrictions. For example: in Iraq, Carrier not allowed wifi and the user flow number is 2. So please make sure you know what the restrictions are and you can go right here and it’s detailed here, for example: adult traffic is not allowed and pop up promotion is also not allowed. Instagram, twitter traffic is not allowed, desktop, web traffic is not allowed, SMS not allowed, emailing not allowed, ok, so just know this. In the screenshots section you can see pictures of the offer, how it looks like. So right here you have the least of countries Mozook work with; that Mozook allow you to promote, for example: we got Iraq, Jordon,

Azerbaijan, Omen, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Yemen, of course this is more the middle east countries and if you remember few chapters ago, I told you that we want to work with smaller countries and the reason is that you want to control the market. You want to get



experience and you want to not have competitors right. So in these countries it will be easy for you to start with and well, you will get some experience and you can move on to USA, Australia and Canada and all the bigger countries, so for now just focus on the smaller countries like Qatar. Let’s do some research, for example: I know that Qatar is very very small country but very very rich country. In Qatar there are a lot of rich people. So let’s do some research, let’s see if Qatar is good to start with, if Qatar is a good country to promote in. So let’s go back into Buzzcity and right here go to advertiser and campaign planner of course. Remember the campaign planner is



your best, very best friend. So right here let’s look for Qatar, here we’ve got reach of 1 million, Ad served 32 million, minimum bid 1 cent, recommend bid 2 cent. So let put it in our work sheet. So country, Qatar, reach, ad serve 32.5, minimum bid 1 cent, Max bid is 2 cent, handset OS ok, so click on more info. Now we want to get into more details about Qatar. What is the carriers, and handset, handset models, handset OS ect.

So right here you can see that most of the people got the Android OS ok, so it’s really important, Android Symbian and Nokia. Nokia doesn’t tell me anything but blackberry telling me something. Ok but most important Android and Symbian, so let’s put it right here, handset OS android and Symbian always ok.



So gender, let’s see what gender, ok as you can see there is much more males that female ok. That means that you can promote a dating offer you know, you got an opportunity to promote dating offer and maybe it will work ok. So insert here in gender, male there is 87.3 and females 12%, 12.7 ok.



Age, let’s see the age, ok so as you can see 20, 24, 25, 29, 30, 34 this is the big population of people and they are not kids so they probably will not want you know, games and some gimmicks ok so it’s important to know. So let’s put here 24- 34 ok, you see those parts are almost equal right.



Ok and we got all the necessary info about Qatar and now when we have this information we can find offers ok. Right now I want to work with Mozzok but usually you need to do this research before you choose an offer to promote ok. Maybe Qatar is a great place to promote, you know, a dating site. Maybe not, I don’t know, I didn’t try it before but you should try it ok, so Qatar. Let’s do another research, ok let’s do another research for another country for example: let’s see if Iraq is fine to work with ok. Let’s search right here for Iraq, here is Iraq.



You tell me by this statistics, Iraq is a good country to work with or not? Ok of course not, they got no reach, it’s a little reach ok. So let’s look for another country, let’s see, let’s see, maybe Oman, let’s look for Oman right here, ok so you tell me Oman is a good country or not? Yes, yes it is of course, so let’s insert the details about Oman. Right here in the country insert Oman, reach of 137, Ad served 76.5, ok minimum bid is 1 cent and max bib is also 1 cent. Let’s look for more info. Ok so handset OS, again, android and Symbian it’s great, Android Symbian. Ok let’s see for gender, as you can see also here there is much more male than female, ok and female is 10%, 10.3 ok. What about age? Again 20-29 ok can see this is the big part of the reach so 20-29 ok awesome. So this is just an example, you should do it for a few counties you know to have, you should do it for 5-10 countries and the reason is that you want statistics to work with, you need to know the numbers, you need to know the countries you’re about to work with. I can tell you that Qatar and Oman, they are Arab countries so maybe other offers don’t good for those countries because the people that’s in those countries are really religion. So for my experience adults are not good for those countries but again you should try ok.



So I need you to do this research for 5-10 countries, you know, to know your numbers. So that’s it for now, I hope you understand everything, of course in the first time maybe it looks little bit complicated but do it again and again, you know, just practice because this part is really important, you should do it and I promise you nobody teach this stuff out there. So you should be super happy and super excited to see this and this is just little bit of what I’m going to show you ok. So that’s it for this chapter, remember you should try this, you should make your list and make sure you know the numbers. So see you in the next chapter.



Optimization Overview Welcome to phase number three. In this phase we are going to talk about optimization. So what is the optimization process? But first of all I need you to know that most of your campaigns will start with a negative ROI, its ok, its fine, it should be like this. So you need to fix the campaigns in order to make then profitable, right, is it make sense? You want to go from negative ROI to positive ROI, and you will do it by fixing your campaigns. I will show you how to fix them later, for now I want you to understand how they works and guys do not expect your campaigns to be profitable right away. If you do it will make you fail ok, be realistic, you will not get rich overnight, you will not go from negative ROI to positive ROI overnight. It will take some time but you will do it, you will do it because it’s possible and it’s simple and it’s easy and I’m here to help you ok. There are three steps I need you to follow. The first step call the campaign test and basically the purpose of the campaign test is to check if the offer is worth your investment of time and money and if you should move to the next steps. If your campaign fails in the campaign test, you should now move to the next steps, is it make sense?



Ok so first of all, of course, you need to choose an offer and you should know the restrictions right, we talk about it in the previous phase ok, so if you do not remember just go to the previous phase. Again you should launch broad campaign; we also did it in the previous phase. So again if you don’t remember go and watch it again. And you should launch a broad campaign and let it run for you know 24 hours. You should get at least 500 clicks with a budget of $5 ok. If you can get this amount of clicks you should bid a little bit higher than the minimum bid. Most of the time the bid is 1 cent but if you do not get enough, you know, clicks in 24 hours you should bid a little bit higher or you can bid for 2 cent ok. You should get at least 1-3 conversions with budget of $5. Of course for offers that pays you between $0.5 to $1.50, ok is it make sense? We already talked about it ok. So now the second step Constancy ok. And here you should check the constancy of your campaign. You should check if your campaign in breakeven in the first 24 hours. Even if it’s in a breakeven make the campaign run to 2-4 days and check every day if you’re still in a breakeven. For those of you who don’t know what breakeven is, basically breakeven is when you do not profit and you do not lose money ok. For example: if I run a campaign and spend you know $5 on the campaign and I get back $5, so I’m in a breakeven ok. Is it make sense?



So step number three and this is the last step, split test ok and this is very very important ok. I will get into this later but for now I want you to understand the big idea of split test. So split test is testing different variations of your campaign in order to see what variation gets you better results.



Clicklog Ok guys, so in this quick chapter I want to show you the click log and basically the click log is a report. The report of each campaign you run and as you can see right here I just cloned the campaign. I cloned this campaign and changed the panel to see which panel getting me more clicks. But I will get into the later, for now I just wanted to show you the click log and how it look like and how it work and its really really cool.

So click on the report of your campaign of course. And right here you can see the clicks, CPR, Spending, CPC, CPM, ok of course, the exposure and let’s say I want to see the statistics of the 25. Of course



in Qatar this is my campaign and right here you can see where the traffic came from and in Buzzcity you’ve got few different channels and as you can see there is entertainment channel, channel content, community, portals, glamour & dating ect. and you can see how many clicks you got from each channel ok. And it’s really really cool because when you get conversion you could see where your conversion came from, you should see it right here when you get conversion of course. It’s really really cool and actually it’s very very helpful. You will use this and I will talk about this in the next phase but for now I just wanted to show you how it looks like and I want you to get some experience for this.



So let’s see the other campaign report clicks log, ok of course and as you can see I got 94 clicks today while I got only 68 clicks in you know 26 hours or something like this and in just few hours I got 94 and what its telling me is that this panel you know is much more attractive than this panel. I don’t know why but the statistics telling me that this panel is much more good. So I will shut down this campaign later but let’s see the click log of this campaign right there. Split Test Overview Welcome back, so in this chapter we’re going to talk about spilt test and guys split testing is the science behind the art of media buying ok. It means that split test is very very important to your success. So what is Split Test? First of all what is Split test? So split test is a way of testing different variations of your campaign in order to see what variation gets you better results. Ok for example: you can test different banners, you can test different channels, you can test different carriers and different operation systems. Of course you can test other things but this is all examples. So let me show you how it works, so here is an example: So my offer will be Sam ok and my goal is to see what panel gets me the highest click through rate and the highest number of conversions. My goal is to get the highest CTR and the highest number of conversions. So guess what I’m going to do? I’m going to launch three different campaigns ok, with the same targeting; the only difference will be the banner. Create campaigns with 3 different banners. And let it run for twenty four hours and see what banner gets the better results.



For example, the second banner got the best results. So guess what I’m going to do? I’m going to kill the other banners. I will keep the second banner campaign. And guess what I’m going to do next? I’m going to launch another campaign with different split test but with this banner. So for example my next split test will be operation systems, so I’m going to launch another three different campaigns, with this exact same banner. The only difference would be the operation systems. So it will be for example: IOS, IOS for iPhone, Android for Samsung galaxy and Symbian and I think that Symbian is for blackberry but I’m not sure. I would check again what operation system gets me the best results ok. So this is the big idea of split test again spilt test is the science behind the art of media buying.
