What is CEMAS?
• Support eligible Small & Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Wales to reduce the initial risk associated with developing new mobile products
• Part funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the University of South Wales
What do we do?
• Native Mobile Development (Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Blackberry, Symbian)
• User Interface Design and Experience• Product Quality Control and Testing
• Mobile Product Development for eligible SMEs
3 Stage Process
STAGE 1
• Arrange Events, Seminars and Workshops• Organise one to one meetings• Mobile Product Proposal Form submitted

• Design, Development & Testing of your mobile product
3 Stage Process
STAGE 3
• Finalise specification• Route to Market support (for example, a
launch event)• Protecting ‘foreground’ IP of the mobile
product
Eligibility Criteria
• Less than 250 employees • Turnover of less than €50m• Balance sheet total less
than €43m• SME not more than 24%
owned by non SME or public sector org
Achievements - Products
• Developed mobile products for most sectors of the Welsh economy including Health, Education, Tourism, Agriculture, Engineering and Creative Industries – all of these products are for SMEs (not CEMAS)
