Compass 2032 is the successor of Vision 2020* for the Girl Guide & Girl Scout Movement.

Compass 2032 is the Movement’s collective big-picture goal for the next 12 years that will support the WAGGGS Global Team and each Member Organisation to help girls achieve the future they dream of.

* Vision 2020 was approved at the 2011 World Conference and will expire at the end of 2020

Compass 2032 acts as a pointer along the pathway that the entire Girl Guide and Girl Scout Movement wants to take together.

COMPASS 2032: WHAT GIRLS WANT FROM GG/GS

I want to feel like I’m

enough

The BEST thing

about GG/GS is

making friends and

having sisters all

over the world!

I like feeling I belong

There is so much

pressure to be

someone you’re not

- to look, act,

speak, & do a

certain way …

GG/GS helps me

build my confidence

to be myself.

I like feeling confident

and believing in myself I learn so

much at

GG/GS –

new skills,

how to

speak up

about things

that matter

to me, how

to lead

myself and

others.

I like learning and being

prepared with skills to help me live in my world

I am told all the time I can’t do

certain things because I’m a girl; or

I don’t get the same opportunities

or I don’t feel safe because I’m a

girl … we need equality!

I want to have equal

opportunities.

The world has lots of challenges, like

gender-based discrimination, violence

against girls, and the destruction of our

environment. GG/GS helps me speak out

and take action to make a difference.

I like feeling my voice matters

and I can make a difference

I want to have fun in GG/GS !
