MLM Tips | What is a goal

A goal is an objective with a desired end result. According to

Wikipedia “A goal is a desired result a person or a system

envisions plans and commits to achieve a personal or

organizational desired end-point in some sort of assumed

development. It is important to note that in order for goal

setting to be effective it must be measurable.

Goals should also have a projected deadline for which it

should be accomplished. In network marketing, a major key

to success is having definitive goals that you are constantly

striving to achieve. The day you wake up without a goal is

the day you start dying.

MLM Tips – Types of Goals

Goals should be categorized as short term, medium

term and long term. It is important to note that you goals

must serve to accomplishing one major purpose for it to

be effective. It is important to note that you can never

miss a goal.

You can only miss the date for which you set for that

goal. A long term goal may usually span a period of 5 -

10 years. Long term goals may require you achieving

many different elements and may require the efforts of

many people to accomplish.

An example of a long term goal may be to develop an

income of One (1) million Dollars a year within the next 5

years. This may be a task that involves a process of

developing a customer base of 1000 people who spend

1000 per year with you.

Or a network marketing team of 1000 people, which is

normally what it, takes to create that type of income.

Medium term goals may involve what you need to

accomplish, each year to achieve your long term goal.

In our example it means creating 200 new customers or

adding 200 distributors to your team each year. Short term

goals would be the stepping stones to accomplishing your

medium term goals. In our example that means adding 17

new people per month to your customer base or business

team. Notice how each type of goal leads to achieving your ultimate goal in 5 years.

Most people in multi-level marketing only think of goals

in terms of monetary value. But there are other areas

of life that you need to set goals in to ensure that you

live a happy and fulfilled life on this earth. Here are

5 mlm tips in the areas in which you need to set goals:

Spiritual – Have a firm spiritual foundation will give you

the strength to overcome those difficult times in life.

Especially when it comes to handling circumstance that

you feel like you have no control over. Your faith is

normally what will carry you through these

circumstances and life moments.

Health – Life cannot be lived to its fullest if your health is in

poor condition. Being healthy gives you the energy to take

on each day with a sense of vitality and vigor. You cannot

enjoy the fruits of your hard work if you are confined

because of your failing health.

You will be of better use to your family, community and the

world if you take care of the only vehicle you have to take

you through this life..

Financial – Let’s face it, the world we live in runs on money.

More importantly the abundance thereof. If you do not have

a goal to continually improve your financial status, you will

quickly find yourself running out of money and leaving you

and your family unprotected in times of need. Remember if

you are not constantly growing you are dying. Nothing stays

stagnant!

Family – You should always strive to improve the

relationships you have with your family. At the end of the

day all the wealth and things you acquire have no meaning

unless you have loved ones to enjoy them with.

Community – We all have a short time on this earth and at

some point it comes to an end. The only true value of your

life would be “how many people were better off because

YOU lived. So, what is your impact going to be on the

earth?

MLM Tips | Goal Setting Formula

Many years ago a wealthy mentor of mine shared with me

his simple formula for success. Now he was not the first

person to say this, but it has proven to stand the test of

time.

That formula for success is Goals + Action = Success.

If you just follow those mlm tips in that formula you will set

yourself on the right path to success. In addition to

those mlm tips, you need to develop a daily action plan that

helps you to achieve your short term goals within your

specified time frames, time will pass you by and before long

you would not have accomplished anything.

He also told me that every day you wake up you should

always have a goal that will drive you. To accomplish this

you must have a goal that will require more than just you

and will take more than your lifetime to accomplish.

MLM Tips | Goals vs Wishes

There is a distinct difference between Goals and Wishes.

You see every one wish they had more money, nicer cars,

bigger homes and more time to spend with friends and

family.

But, how many of those people have a clearly defined path

to follow that will lead them to their desired end result? The

answer – NOT THAT MANY! You see to separate yourself

from the masses and to stop being a wisher and start

accomplishing the things you want out of life.

So here are my final mlm tips – You must set goals and

have a daily action plan to achieve those goals.
