1 Milwaukee Theatre MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT Greetings! Welcome to The Milwaukee Theatre, and to the Wisconsin premier of Rock of Ages, the closing presentation in our 2010-11 season of great Broadway shows. Five–time Tony Award®-nominated Rock of Ages is a hilarious, hard-rocking, and suitably adult tribute to 1980s “hair metal” and the rock & roll lifestyle, featuring music by Journey, REO Speedwagon, Whitesnake, Styx and other famous (or notorious) bands of the genre. We’re especially delighted that the show includes Tony Nominee Constantine Maroulis; it isn’t often that a star who defines a role on Broadway goes out on the road with the show’s official touring production, and Maroulis really is terrific as Drew. If you’re a rocker at heart, you will have a blast at Rock of Ages! Rock of Ages is the last of our own Broadway presentations this season, but there is still plenty of enjoyment to come, including the Old School Music Festival, featuring The Bar-Kays, Sugarfoot’s Ohio Players, ConFunkShun, Slave and Zapp with special guest Shirley Murdock, May 7, and the Brewcity Bruisers 2011 Championship Bout, May 14, both next door at the U.S. Cellular Arena. The annual Bead and Button Show returns to the Frontier Airlines Center, June 4-12, and this year we will host the 2011 United States Open Table Tennis Championships, also in the Frontier Airlines Center, June 30-July 4. Our 2011-2012 season is falling into place, and as of this writing I can tell you that our lineup includes, among other possibilities: the new production of the timeless Broadway classic South Pacific; a return engagement, direct from Broadway, of the ever-popular Rain – A Tribute to The Beatles; the All-New Original Tribute to The Blues Brothers, an enormous international hit from London’s West End; the family-friendly Broadway smash Shrek The Musical; and the cutting-edge, four-time Tony Award®- winning musical In The Heights. As always, all of our presentations are the exclusive, official U.S. tours of shows staged on Broadway by the same producers. We expect very soon to announce dates and begin accepting orders. If you are not signed up for our emails, I urge you to do so at www.wcd.org, so you will get the earliest announcements and first opportunities to take advantage of Early Bird, Group and Loyalty Rewards. Thank you for joining us for this show! We hope you will have a wonderful experience, and invite you to tell your family and friends about our shows and the beautiful Milwaukee Theatre; mostly we hope you will return for many more events! MESSAGE FROM THE PRES IDENT

Greetings!

Welcome to The Milwaukee Theatre, and to the Wisconsin premier of Rock of Ages, the closing presentation in our 2010-11 season of great Broadway shows.

Five–time Tony Award®-nominated Rock of Ages is a hilarious, hard-rocking, and suitably adult tribute to 1980s “hair metal” and the rock & roll lifestyle, featuring music by Journey, REO Speedwagon, Whitesnake, Styx and other

famous (or notorious) bands of the genre.

Our 2011-2012 season is falling into place, and as of this writing I can tell you that our lineup includes, among other possibilities: the new production of the timeless Broadway classic South Pacific; a return engagement, direct from Broadway, of the ever-popular Rain – A Tribute to The Beatles; the All-New Original Tribute to The Blues Brothers, an enormous international hit from London’s West End; the family-friendly Broadway smash Shrek The Musical; and the cutting-edge, four-time Tony Award®-winning musical In The Heights.
