What is MIZU1

MIZU is an amazing work in the 4.0 era of block chain!

Geeky blockchain lab, founded by MIZU foundation, is based on IPFS Intranet nodes

and combined with blockchain 3.0 technology to create the original m-dpoc consensus

protocol for the entrusted rights and interests of minzhu data blocks. Based on years of

technology accumulation, MIZU aims to achieve similar to EOS. IO storage (EOS Storge)

decentralization of the file system, for everyone to provide permanent storage capacity,

2.1.3、 IPFS mainly solves four pain points

Downloading a complete file (web page, video, picture, etc.) from a centralized server every time using the HTTP protocol is slow and inefficient. Nearly 60% of the bandwidth can be saved by using P2P downloading, while MIZU USES IPFS technol-ogy to split files into small pieces based on P2P protocol and download them from multiple servers simultaneously, which is efficient, fast and effectively reduces costs.

MIZU launched a distributed file management client that supports regular file type storage, such as document PDF, word, form XLSX, etc. It allows each user to define a directory structure. All files under this directory structure are an IPFS link, and the stored UTC stores only the IPFS file link and a readable file name. When the user wants to upload a file, the file is first passed to the designated block producer, who verifies that the file matches the file name, and then broadcasts it to the entire block chain system, where other block producers copy the file over the IPFS net-work.

This allows the user to successfully upload a file and save the link to the file in the home directory.

First, the user chooses to upload the private file. At this time, the system will use the EOS public key address of the user to encrypt the file and upload it to IPFS. The hash value of the file goes up to the EOS chain. This file is externally encrypted. For the user, the user can obtain the source file by decrypting the file with his pri-vate key.

So how do you privatize your files and protect your privacy?

Blockchain like bitcoin will have a dedicated BPM module. This BPM module can store simple text records very efficiently, which is why cryptocurrency works well on blockchain. In the cryptocurrency application scenario, the BPM module only needs to record the number of senders, payers and cryptocurrencies, which makes the BPM module very efficient in performing this task. But if you need to store a lot of other data, such as text data or personal information data, the efficien-cy of storage on the blockchain is very bad, not to mention picture files. This is because every production block needs to compute and validate the hash of all this data to keep the chain intact, resulting in very inefficient block production. MIZU USES IPFS in conjunction with blockchain networks to solve this problem. It only stores the hash values generated by the IPFS that need to store files on the block-chain, rather than the BPM above, to improve efficiency across the chain.

When users upload files, they need to pay a fee with MIZU, and the video files will be transferred to the operation team for review. After successful verification, the video file will be added to the IPFS network, and the hash value obtained by the IPFS calculation file (in the form of Memo) will be linked to the EOS blockchain.
