eWIC Card device install instructions
NOTES: Please do not install the card reader in until the software process requires it Anti-virus or malware protection may prompt you to allow the process to continue (watch for minimized boxes requiring a positive prompt)

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click onhttps://health.mo.gov/living/families/wic/wicitdownloads/index.html
3. Click on eWIC install package version 17 (eWIC FullInstallVersion.zip)
4. Click on Save as
5. Click on DesktopClick on the Save button
6. Close Internet Explorer by clicking the X
7. Right click on eWIC_Install (zip file – folder with zipper) and click on Extract All…
NOTE: On the desktop or where you saved it too (some computers will default to the downloads folder)
8 Click on Extract
It is important to do the Extract All…
9 Double Click on the Icon for the Main file
10 SmartScreen can’t be reached right now – Click on Run
10a If by chance you get the screen to the right please click on More info and you will then see the SmartScreen screen in the row above.
11 Main script is running – Click okay
12 You will see install shield screens auto running (just watch) Several automated screens like this will be reflected (Please wait and watch for the prompt in the next row)
NOTE: On some computers you might not see the SmartScreen
window. Please do not be concerned if you don’t see just carry
on.
13 When the CyberJack Script is complete box comes up click on OK
14 Then you will see Extracting: SWEM-SC.msi
15 Then you will see the installation of SWEM-SC
16 Then you will see the SpiritOfflineHostService service is stopping
17 Then you will see the SpiritOfflineHostService service is starting.
18 SWEM-SC Script is Complete – Click OK
19 Main Script is Complete – Click OK
20 Click the X to close the eWIC_Install folder
21 Plug in the Card device into an USB port
22 Double Click on SWEM-SC
23 You should see that SWEM-SC is running
24 The Card device will reflect Please Insert Card!
25 Please wait
Please Do Not Remove Card…
Card Updated. and and
26 Remove the card and you will see 1-Request Update2-Send Card
