BOARD MEMBERS AND NATIONAL DIRECTORS
Greetings,
I hope everyone has had a great summer thus far. It’s August, which means it’s hot, but that football season is just around the corner!
Thanks to everyone who attended our 2017 Annual Meeting in French Lick, IN. Thanks also to those Board and Committee members that worked so hard to organize and run the meeting and related events. Your willingness to participate and serve the Chapter is appreciated. The golf outing at the Pete Dye Course, the tasting and tour at the Winery, and the informative educational program, this year’s conference was a success! At the Meeting, we elected Jeff Raetz as a new Director to the Board and re-elected Sam Graber. In addition, Chad Degenhart took over as the Chapter’s Secretary. I want to express my gratitude to Andréa Rygelski for her service as the Chapter’s Secretary.
We appreciate the feedback received from the Annual Meeting attendees on their evaluation forms. We will be narrowing down the potential sites for our 2018 meeting at our next Board meeting. Please feel free to contact me or any Board member if you have any input on next year’s meeting, or any other suggestions for Chapter activities. We would love to hear from you.
Regards,
Emery Lewis Chapter President

EDITOR’S COMMENTS
Hi everyone! I hope everyone is geared up for harvest. I am sure many of you, if not all of you, have seen how drones are becoming a huge staple in the future of farming. Here is an article of highlighting the broad ranges of what drones can be used for, how much some cost, and how important they will be from here on.
