Family? Finances? Family Life started in 1976 to tackle these questions. Gary and Cindy Blunier (See Nov. 2008 Prayer Guide) left Eureka, Illinois 15 years ago to join the effort. Today they oversee recruitment evaluation, internal position transfers, and staff resourcing for all of FamilyLife. Gary works on cars as a ministry to those in need around him. • Prayer Requests FamilyLife • Pray for FamilyLife staff to remain strong (Gary and Cindy’s Dept. lost half its staff this year). • Praise God for doubling ministry recruiting efforts in spite of cut backs. • Pray that God will use the uncertainty in the U.S. to refocus families on Christ. Personal • Praise God for the teams that worked to help build the ministry garage. • Pray for swift closure to garage project and restart of “car” ministry in July. Family • Praise God for Gary’s Friday breakfasts with the men who love his daughters. This is a rich time of family growth that is rare in this culture. • Please pray that their entire family (3 married daughters/1engaged daughter/5 grandchildren) will order their lives around Christ. • Praise God for visit with Chris and Jenny (daughter/son-in-law) who live in England.
