The “Cambridge Secondary 1” program offers a flexi-

ble liberal arts curriculum with Checkpoint Exams

which provide an external international benchmark

for learner performance. Global benchmarks are

infused throughout Language Arts, Science, and

Mathematics classes. Students will learn to gather

data through research and testing, as well as to

document and communicate their results. The em-

phasis of this program is on creating awareness of future global needs, developing tech-

nological competence, and increasing students’ communications capacity.
