A huge THANK YOU to ALL of our donors! We wish we had room to acknowledge

each and every one of you here!

List does not include purchases of event tickets or registrations, auction item purchases, or inkind donations.

Every effort was made to ensure the accuracy of this list. Please accept our sincere apologies for any errors or omissions.

I am truly honored to take the reigns at CASA of Lane County this September. I have tremendous respect for all of the years of commitment and leadership given by Megan Shultz. She has left an indelible legacy with this agency.

As you will see in the pages of this report, CASA is STRONG. The staff, board and volunteers are steadfast in their commitment to protecting children. I am eager to partner with them and with our powerful community of supporters, to take CASA of Lane County to the next level.

I will spend a significant amount of time learning the ins and outs of this organization over the coming months. But one thing that is very clear to me now is that the demand for our services continues to grow. The current waiting list for children in Lane County awaiting a CASA volunteer is 271. Every child that is in need of a CASA deserves to have one. I am committed to reducing our waiting list and providing children with the highest quality of service.

I was 21 years of age when I began working with foster teens at the Children’s Services Division. I recently ran into one of my first clients at a conference. She is now a mother and has worked as a caregiver for several years. She told me that the work that my colleagues and I did with her case saved her life. We will never know the full magnitude of influence that our services have on children’s lives but we can rest assured that the effects will ripple for generations to come.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible during our upcoming Annual Campaign and throughout the year at events such as Casino Night and the Golf Marathon. Thank you for your ongoing support. Our collective efforts give a voice to vulnerable children in our community.

Respectfully,Heather MurphyExecutive Director, CASA of Lane County
