To deliver an ecient, user-friendly automated air pump system that ensures accuracy and promotes proper tire ination.

INPUT METHODSInput Method 1: The user is able to manually enter the desired PSI value using the input buttons.

Input Method 2: The system can take an input from an RFID tag attached to the object, allowing any user to easily enter the correct PSI value.

SYSTEM DIAGRAM SOLUTION

PROJECT DESCRIPTIONThe Automated Ination System eliminates the need to frequently check pressure values while inating objects. Using a pressure sensor, a microcontroller controls two valves to inate and deate objects to desired values.

FACTS

The average Canadian driver could save the equivalent of two weeks worth of gas every year with proper tire ination.

Every year in Canada, 1.5 million tonnes of carbon dioxide are unnecessarily released into the environment because of poor tire ination.

Underination will build up internal heat, increase rolling resistance and cause a reduction in fuel economy. You would experience a signicant loss of steering precision and cornering stability.

Under or over-inated tires will cause handling, Antilock Braking Systems, Traction Control Systems, and stability control systems problems.
