The MidwayUSA Foundation exists solely to provide funding for shooting sports education in high schools, colleges and universities.

The Scholastic Shooting Trust (SST) is the Foundation’s vehicle for parents, alumni and the community to raise money in support of their chosen high school, college or university team.

• Mission– NEIJSS is a 501c3 non-profit organization that fosters and encourages

national and/or international amateur clay target shooting sports competitions.

• NEIJSS conducts and engages amateur competitions in the clay target shooting sports, develops amateur athletes for national and international competition and educates amateur athletes in the clay target shooting disciplines.

NEIJSS Growing Teams in NE• Currently over $500K in New England SCTP team endowment

accounts with Midway USA Foundation and NEIJSS. Each team is allowed to withdraw 5% per year to help fund shooting.

• Distributed $264K in endowment money to Midway USA Foundation for New England SCTP Teams in 2011.

• Distributing $75K in 2012 to New England SCTP teams endowment accounts.

• Grew from 6 SCTP teams to currently 21 SCTP teams in NE in 2012.

NEIJSS College Teams• NEIJSS and Minute Man Sportsman’s Club is one of the first organizations to support the NSSF

initiative to start more college teams. MMSC is training facility for all 5 of these college teams.

New England Clay Cup

New England Clay Cup an annual collegiate event hosted by NEIJSS and Minute Man Sportsman’s Club

100 college athletes from Harvard, MIT, Yale, WestPoint, Harvard Law, U Vermont, RI School of Design, Brown, Northeastern, Tufts, Trinity and Suffolk in attendance.

NEIJSS Training New Coaches

• NEIJSS instructor of the NRA Level 1 Shotgun Coaches Class for the last three years– Trained 75 new shotgun coaches in the New England area. – NEIJSS instructor also taught classes in Texas and Arkansas with another 35

coaches.• Results of new coaches are more teams and new shooters joining SCTP teams.
