Depending on the type of glass or mirror, waste or remainders are separated.These are recycled by suppliers or customers :
Pure glass : by glass manufacturersMirror : for kitchen work tops, tiles, in concrete, etc.

Furthermore :
Mirror silvering : Cupper is no longer used as protective layer.Deknudt Mirror Works developed a replacing equally protective product.
Polyurethane frame :Frames in wood would be ecologically irresponsible + not feasible in price or economy (cost,time)
Packing in honeycomb cardboard :Ecologically better for the environment than wood + more functional than wood (shock absorption).
