• Ride Strava Live Segments with your Cyclo and seamlessly sync your results with Strava via MioShareTM.

• Strava Live Segments designate a portion of a route where users can compete for time. These segments are user-created and user-edited and are available for all premium Strava users.

• The track segments are used competitively to compare ones results with one’s personal record or against other competitors thus pushing oneself to improve constantly.

• An overview of all the participants and their results is maintained on Strava, so one can always look back to his or her own position in the listing.

• You can find a detailed user guide at the end of this document.

Adding the Node option• Belgium and Dutch users will be able to select the cycle route nodes that are available in these two countries when navigating or creating a track. These nodes are specific coordinates that enable a user to create a track or navigate a route using these pre-numbered coordinates as a preferred option

instead of just navigating and have the device determine the route.

Page 6: Mio Cyclo software improvements - Raleighmedia.raleigh.co.uk/downloads/Mio_V4.4.pdf · So from now on this very popular option is available on your Mio Cyclo™. How to use this feature?

Enable/disable auto recording• Users will be able to enable or disable the auto record option on the device. The auto record option is activated by default. We now added the option to turn this off. This is to prevent the device from recording when this is not wanted. Auto record, when activated, will restart a recording after the device has been inactive for a while,

pausing the recording, thus making sure that the user does not accidentally forget to press “record” again. Auto record starts as soon as motion is detected.

Adding 2 extra info field dashboard screens• Users with multiple bicycles/profiles now have 2 additional info fields available on the dashboard

screen, so they can save the info fields for both bicycles/profiles without having to edit every time they change bicycle.

Adding ferries back as a route setting option• On popular demand we added ferry crossings again for route options. The ferry crossings will be

optional in the menu. We also added routing via ferry route in bike profile for TA CEU to Denmark.

What are Strava Live Segments?Strava Live Segments designate a portion of a route where users can compete for time. These segments are user-created and user-edited and are available for all premium Strava users.

The track segments are used competitively to compare ones results with one’s personal record or against other competitors thus pushing oneself to improve constantly.

An overview of all the participants and their results is maintained on Strava so one can always look back to his or her own position in the table.

So from now on this very popular option is available on your Mio Cyclo™.

How to use this feature?1. Make sure you link your MioShare account with Strava (Account > Synchronisation settings > Strava > Link my account).2. Log in to your (premium) Strava account. 3. Synchronise your device with MioShare using the CycloAgent or WIFI sync.6. The marked segments will shortly be visible on your device 7. Only cycling segments will be synced with your Mio.8. It will take a few minutes for Strava to re-calculate and update the rankings after the automatic

synchronisation with MioShare. To make sure you use the latest Strava ranking stats, it is recommended to re-sync your segments to your Cyclo before every use; this will refresh the

rankings and results.
