Program Features The Certificate of Undergraduate Study (CUGS) in Access, Success and Equity for Educational Innovation has been developed within the Educa- tional Services and Leadership department with the goal of developing graduates who can work in a variety of organizations and agencies related broadly to the educational purpose, including foundations, governmental and community agencies, charter and private schools, and non-profit as well as for profit organizations, among others. Students will learn about the history of education, the teaching and learning process as well as the structure and function of organizations and their administration. The curriculum will include a specific focus on the issues of access, success, and equity in education and the ways in which education and the educational process can be harnessed for social change and improvement. Minimum Grade and Cumulative GPA Requirements Open to all undergraduate students from any program at Rowan University. All students must be matriculated into a major at Rowan University. Students will complete all required program courses with a minimum 1.70 (C-) in all coursework. For full details regarding satisfactory academic progress and graduation requirements, please visit www.rowanu.com/policies. Program Evaluation All courses include signature assignments on which performance data will be collected each semester. The results will be uploaded to the College assessment system. Programmatic changes to enhance learning outcomes will be made annually or more frequently as needed.
