RRÉÉGGLLAAGGEE DDEE LLAA PPRROOFFOONNDDEEUURR::• SSaaiissiirr ffeerrmmeemmeenntt l’arbre composite et l’immobiliser.• Desserrer la molette de réglage de la tension de la direction et la molettede réglage de la profondeur pour libérer l’arbre.• Remonter ou abaisser le moteur à la profondeur voulue.• Serrer le collier de serrage pour fixer le moteur en place.

RREEMMAARRQQUUEE:: Lors du réglage de la profondeur, s’assurer que le haut dumoteur est immergé d’au moins 30 cm (12 in.) pour éviter tout remous à lasurface de l’eau. L’hélice doit être entièrement immergée.

screws securely.

DDEEPPTTHH AADDJJUUSSTTMMEENNTT::• FFiirrmmllyy ggrraasspp the composite shaft and hold it steady.• Loosen the steering tension knob and depth collar knob until the shaftslides freely.• Raise or lower the motor to the desired depth.• Tighten depth collar knob to secure the motor in place.

NNOOTTEE:: When setting the depth be sure the top of the motor is submerged atleast 12" to avoid churning or agitation of surface water. The propeller mustbe completely submerged.

Johnson Outdoors will provide a new shaft,free of charge, to replace any composite shaft found to be defectivemore than two years after the date of purchase. Providing such anew shaft shall be the sole liability of Johnson Outdoors Inc. and thesole remedy of the purchaser for breach of this warranty; and pur-chaser shall be responsible for installing, or for the cost of labor toinstall, any new composite shaft provided by Johnson Outdoors Inc.

Entire Product Johnson Outdoors Inc. warrants to the original purchaser that the pur-chaser’s entire Minn Kota® trolling motor is free from defects in mate-rials and workmanship appearing within two (2) years after the dateof purchase. Johnson Outdoors will, at its option, either repair orreplace, free of charge, any parts, including any composite shaft,found to be defective during the term of this warranty. dades de avance y tres velocidades de retroceso.El control de velocidad puede ser operado en cualquier

dirección, avance o retroceso. reverse speeds.The speed control may be operated in either direction,

forward or reverse. Turn the tilt twist tiller handlecounterclockwise from O (off) to increase reversespeed and clockwise from O (off) to increase forwardspeed. Thrust decreases as you approach O fromeither direction. The numbers printed on the twist griphandle represent a percentage of maximum thrust.

The twist grip tiller handle is shipped in the down posi-tion. Firmly pull the handle up to the horizontal posi-tion. The handle has five available positions: 45°down, horizontal, 15°, 30° and 45° tilted up. The han-dle locks in the horizontal position, but can be tilteddown by pushing the release button located on theleft underside of the handle pivot.

exposure. Salt water use will void your warranty.2. The propeller must be cleaned of weeds and fishing

line. Line can get behind the prop, wear away the sealsand allow water to enter the motor. Disconnect batteryand check this after every 20 hours of operation.

3. To prevent accidental damage during trailering or stor-age, disconnect the battery whenever the motor is off ofthe water. For prolonged storage, lightly coat all metalparts with silicone spray.

4. For maximum performance, restore battery to fullcharge before each use. Unless you are using a powerpanel or MINN KOTA battery charger, disconnect thetrolling motor when charging the battery.

5. The composite shaft requires periodic cleaning andlubrication for proper retraction and deployment. A coat-ing of Armoral® will provide “like new” operation.

6. The weedless propeller is designed to provide absoluteweed free operation with very high efficiency. To maintaintop performance, the leading edge of the blades must bekept smooth. If this edge is rough or nicked, restore tosmooth by sanding with fine sandpaper.

• Sujetar con firmeza la hélice y aflojar la tuerca de la hélice con unos alicateso una llave.

• Extraer la tuerca y la arandela de la hélice. Si el pasador de transmisión estádentado o roto, será necesario que se mantenga el eje inmovilizado con la hoja de un destornillador en la ranura enel extremo del eje.

• Hold the propeller and loosen the prop nut with a pli-ers or a wrench.

• Remove prop nut and washer. If the drive pin issheared/broken, you will need to hold the shaftsteady with a screwdriver blade pressed into the sloton the end of the shaft.

• Turn the old prop to horizontal ( as illustrated ) andpull it straight off. If drive pin falls out, push it back in.

• Align new propeller with drive pin.• Install prop washer and prop nut.• Tighten prop nut 1/4 turn past snug. [25-35 inch lbs.]

Be careful, over tightening can damage prop.

RREEMMPPLLAACCEEMMEENNTT DDEE LL’’HHÉÉLLIICCEE::

• Saisir l’hélice et desserrer l’écrou avec une pince ouune clé.

rage excessif peut endommager l’hélice.
