The Department of Empowerment of Persons with
Disabilities/Divyangjan congratulates the winners of National Awards for
the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, 2019.
2. The list of awardees is placed at Annexure I. The awards shall be
conferred from 9.30 a.m. on 3rd December, 2019 at VigyanBhawan, New Delhi.
3. A rehearsal of the function will be held on 2nd December, 2019 from
9.30 a.m. at the same venue. All the awardees are requested to plan their
journey so as to reach Delhi not earlier than afternoon of 30th November,
2019 and latest by afternoon of 1st December, 2019.
4. To and fro railway journey fare of AC II tier (i.e. AC Second Class) shall
be reimbursed to awardees on production of original tickets/receipts. In
case of air-travel, the Awardees may come by economy class of Air India only
provided air tickets are purchased from the Air India booking
counter/website or from the authorized agents viz M/s. BalmerLawrie&
Company or M/s. Ashok Travel and Tours or IRCTC. It may please be
noted that no reimbursement will be permissible for air tickets of any
other Air lines. The reimbursement will be on production of Air ticket
alongwith submission of to & fro boarding passes.
5. In case the National Awardee is a person with disability, one escort is
also entitled for reimbursement of travelling expenses of the same mode of
travel as well boarding & lodging facilities.
6. The awardees from Government Department/State Governments/PSU
are requested to make their own stay arrangements and claim their TA/DA
from their respective organizations/authorities. Only one representative of
the Awardee representing Organization/the Government Department will
receive the National Award. Name of the proposed recipient be intimated
immediately.
