To Our Mother

So many things of you I will miss

Your gentle hug and tender kiss.

I still can feel your warm embrace

And picture your loving face.

A mother’s tasks are never done.

And Heaven must have needed one.

For angles came and took your hand

And led her to God’s promised land.

You are surely kept quite busy there

While laughing and talking to

Dad and Shonda.

Although there’s sadness, this I know

You are waiting there for me.

Your face a glow

I close my eyes and I can see

Your arms still open wide for me.

We love you,

Alanna & Kendra

Life Reflections A Time to be Born: Minister Christine Colson was

born in Coffee County, Georgia, on August 15,

1957, to her parents.

A Time to Transition: Minister Christine Colson

has fought the good fight, ran the race, and

won the battle on May 27, 2021, at Coffee

Regional Medical Center God knelt down and

whispered, "Come Home" my child, no more

pain, no more sickness. Obediently, she

surrendered her soul; she's no longer dreaming

the dream; she now lives the dream with her

Heavenly Father.

A Time to Love: She was joined in Holy

Matrimony to Elder Herman G. Colson. To this

union, three beautiful daughters were born.

A Time to Learn: She was educated in the Coffee

County School System.

A Time of Faith: Minister Christine Colson

accepted Christ at an early age. She was first

lady and devoted minister under her husband

Elder Herman Colson at Evergreen Union

Holiness Church in Pearson, Georgia. She later

served under the leadership of Elder Cory

Holland at Evergreen Union Holiness Church.

A Time of Sorrow: She was preceded in death by

her mother: Peggy Glover; her husband: Elder

Herman G. Colson; and one daughter: Lashana

Colson.

A Time to Rejoice: She leaves to cherish her

memories: two loving daughters: Alanna Colson

and Kendra (Coty) Lundy; six grandchildren:

Zion, Tauzianna, Natavia, Azuri, Ahn'dree, and

Alaysia; one godson: Keyshawn (Brianna) Bailey;

father: Marildon (Julia) Glover; eight siblings:

Lucille Reed, Linda Burch, Jurell Glover, Mario

(Sharon) Glover, Edward (Lavern) Glover,
