A message from the Minister for Mines and Energy, Northern Territory

As the Northern Territory’s Minister for Mines and

Energy, I’m looking forward to meeting the men and

women who have built mining into the Top End’s most

successful industry.

I shall be speaking on the first day of this year’s

Mining the Territory Conference about what the NT

Government is doing to support the industry.

More importantly, I’ll also be listening to what exhibitors

and attendees have to say about the future of the

industry in the NT and how my team can help mining

thrive.

Mining is at the heart of our plan to create jobs and

generate wealth for Territorians and building a good

working relationship with the industry is essential.

I’m sure that working together will deliver a bright future

for both mining and the Territory.

I look forward to seeing you at the conference in August.

The Hon David Tollner MLA, Minister for Mines and Energy, Northern Territory Government

This workshop is designed for any supplier, sales team or management team to influence their organisation to “increase sales” and build a great team at the same time. The discussions will provide the opportunity to cover a number of leadership concepts to help you build your capabilities and better engage with your customers.

Topics to be discussed include:

The inside out leader: How you represent your company internally, is how you are perceived externally.

The influencing leader: What would change in your business simply by understanding your customers better than you could ever imagine?

The changing leader: How to change your thinking so it automatically changes your business and sales growth.

What to expect:

• Comprehend the impact of people temperaments and personalities in business

• Adopt a very simple process of why any person buys a product/service regardless of the price

Site Tour Crocodile Gold’s Cosmo Deeps Mine Friday 28th August 2015

Crocodile Gold’s Cosmo Mine is approximately 135km south west of Darwin and forms part of the Company’s Northern Territory Operations. The deposit contains around 550,000 ounces of Measured and Indicate Mineral Resources and 84,000 ounces Inferred Mineral Resources.

All ore is mined at Cosmo and trucked to the processing facility at Union Reefs, which is located to the north of the township of Pine Creek.

Crocodile Gold and Mining the Territory are providing an opportunity for a strictly limited number of people to tour the underground development, which will include the chance to see a working face in ore, if one is available at the time of the tour.

The tour will depart from the Medina at approximately 9.30am and return following lunch at the mine at approximately 4pm.
