Toxic positivity occurs when you block your and others negative emotions and disregard them as invalid. Acknowledging that voice in your head and how you feel should always be your first step. Trying to find the silver lining is the second and lasting step. That little voice in your head that responds to things matters. When you take control of how positive your self-talk is you’re able to impact how you handle stress.
