PROGRAM FOCUS The program has been designed around three central themes critical to optimising current and future mining performance: The transition to high performing mining leader: Interwoven across the 7 month program is a series of leadership development experiences which carefully guide and support the growth and development of Participant’s leadership capabilities. Participants receive personal coaching feedback sessions across the program and supported application of competencies in the workplace takes place between workshop modules. Participants also work in teams and develop peer coaching networks. The business of mining and optimising operational performance: Focus in the first workshop is on achieving value creation through incremental change by optimising operations in the current mining context. Online modules and facilitated discussion around practitioner and academic speaker sessions focus on knowledge and capability competencies required to drive operational effectiveness. Creating new value through transformation and innovation in global mining: The second workshop and subsequent coaching and application focus on building capabilities to enable proactive value creation through non-linear shifts arising from external or internal changes.
