Analysis and Solving of Engineering Problems. [Minimum 15 weeks] B. Ability to apply theoretical knowledge to engineering design (to meet specific needs: purpose and performance). [Minimum 15 weeks] C. Applicant’s should demonstrate his/her awareness/understanding of an Engineer's Responsibility for Environment, Health and Safety [involvement over at least 10 weeks] A Applicant to demonstrate that he/she has knowledge of the impact of engineering design

on quality of environment, health and safety, and quality of life, and, B Applicant is able to recognise and assess risks to quality of life, and, consequently, to

design and implement measures and safeguards to enhance quality of environment and life, and ensure sustainability.

Applicant’s should demonstrate his/her Interpersonal and Communications Skills [involvement over a minimum of 24 months of supervised training on full time basis] Applicant to have awareness of need for developing and enhancing his/her ability to interact with individuals and groups, including peers, subordinates, clients, administrators, policy makers and the public. Applicant’s should demonstrate his/her recognition of Need for Broad Education, Recognition of Limits of Professional Competence, Values and Ethics in Professional Practice, and Commitment to Life-long learning. [involvement over at least 5 weeks] A. A broad education in engineering and allied fields, as may be necessary, for optimum

performance in the course of his/her professional practice, B. Ability to recognise limits of personal knowledge and skills, while exercising independent

judgement; C. A commitment to a high ethical standard, responsibility in professional practice, and

commitment and ability to engage in a process of life-long learning; D. Knowledge of contemporary issues.
