User Guide mini Camera pg1

Unpack the contents of the Kaiser Baas mini Camera package. You should have the mini Camera device, User guide, CD, USB cable, Silicon case, Waterproof case, Bracket holders, Clip holder, Elastic strap and Lanyard.

2Insert a formatted Micro-SD card into the Micro-SD card slot. The ‘on/off’ switch should be in the ‘off’ position.

3Connect the mini Camera to your computer using the provided USB cable to charge the Lithium battery. You will see a green LED and a flashing yellow LED. The yellow LED will stop flashing when the battery has finished charging. A full charge will take 3 to 4 hours.

4To set the correct time and date, insert the provided CD and run the ‘WriteTime’ program. You will see the following screen –

The mini Camera will appear as a drive letter in ‘Devices’. Click the ‘Update’ button to set the time and date and click ‘Quit’ to close.

* Program is Windows compatible only.

To turn on the mini Camera, put the ‘on/off’ switch to the ‘on’ posi-tion and then press the ‘record/stop’ button. You will see a green, yellow and blue LED. The blue LED will turn off once initialised –

To capture video, select ‘video’ mode then press the ‘record/stop’ button. The blue LED will start to blink to indicate that video capture has started –

To stop capture, press the ‘record/stop’ button again. The blue LED will stop blinking to indicate that video capture has stopped.

To take a snapshot select ‘photo’ mode. The yellow LED will start to blink to indicate that you are in snapshot capture mode –

To take a snapshot, press the ‘record/stop’ button. The blue LED will turn on momentarily and then turn off when the snapshot has been saved. Do not move the mini Camera during this time.

To access the video and snapshot files, connect the mini Camera to your computer with the supplied USB cable. The mini Camera will act as a Micro-SD card reader so you can access the files. The video files are located in the ‘VIDEO’ folder and the snapshot files are in the ‘IMAGE’ folder.

*Please note, the mini Camera will automatically turn off if there is no activity after 2 minutes to conserve power. It will also automatically turn off when the memory card has reached its capacity during capture or if the battery power is low. When the memory card has reached its capacity, the blue LED will flash briefly when the ‘record/stop’ button is pressed
