Theta dependence with 3GeV, 5GeV

Old data used 2.2GeV

Try with higher energy

Leakage is a function of proton beam energy

More leakage on higher energy

Is it fair to use a=1.3 for higher energy?

Orig geom + 5cm x 19 layers Previous a=1.3 was found with 2.2GeV proton beam a=1.2 seems best with 5GeV

Trying leakage correction

Relative calibration const for OD=1.625 intead of 1.3

Theoretically wrong, but it seems to work

Better way is using interaction length but it’s a function of energy

Thicker ECAL

Add high theta data point 3mm lead gives ~5% decrease on resolution (previously estimated ~10%) It’ll interesting to try with different OD slot position

Only problem with the mapping is difficulty to change 4(bottom)5 and 17(bottom)16 (Need to check with PVC PMT boxes!)

These connection would use mid connector instead of short one
