The Minerva Area YMCA was established in 1981 to fill a need in the Minerva area for quality activities for young people. A group of concerned citizens began meeting in homes to begin planning quality programs that would keep young people off the streets and fill their time with structured activities. What began as an idea has today become a reality. More than 4,000 people are served by programs and services the Minerva Area YMCA now offers.

The Mission of the YMCA is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Our promise is that no one will be turned away for an inability to pay for services. All people are welcome, regardless of race, religion, or creed. Christian principles are evident in all areas of programming and the YMCA values of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship are the basis of any instruction offered to young people by staff and volunteers.

With Deep Appreciation . . . Thank you to everyone involved in the success of our Twenty-Second Annual Holiday Benefit Auction.

Special acknowledgment to those involved with acquisitions, clerical details, transport, setup, delivery and cleanup.

Thank you to all who contributed items or services to the Auction. Special gratitude is owed to those who have supported this event for the twenty-second year.
