A three day space for contemplation, application and exploration with lead trainers, teachers and peers.

The focus of the Conference will be on honouring various perspectives on mindfulness, philosophical as well as theoretical, and to bring together various evidence-based mindfulness approaches in therapy, counselling and community under one roof.

Through this diversity we hope to get a sense of that ONE TASTE, of `beingness' or Presence and touch into the essence of the practice of mindfulness that becomes the impetus for ourselves and the people we serve.

What better way to commemorate World Mental Health Day than through this exploration of Mindfulness. Evidence based applications, research in the eld, has proved beyond doubt, what has been known from the wisdom traditions, that indeed there are many benets from the practice of Mindfulness.

The concept and application of Mindfulness has pervaded every eld. However, to really understand Mindfulness and the essence of the practice we need to include the wisdom perspectives. The secular practice of Mindfulness does not exclude but includes the deep wisdom that comes from Buddhist and other wisdom orientations.

So the conference includes perspectives from wisdom traditions as well as an exploration of research based applications in mental health, counselling, psychotherapy and community with leading trainers and practitioners from around the world through in person and online interactive sessions.

At the heart of `understanding' Mindfulness is also the practice and a direct experience. So the conference includes the practice of Mindfulness.

All are welcome to the conference, from those who are curious about mindfulness, practitioners who want to deepen and widen perspective, professionals who want to include this dimension for themselves and in their work, students, teachers, community workers, organizational thought leaders.

It is also an opportunity to interact with one another and to come together of community.

We are honoured to have Ven. Geshe Dorji Damdul inaugurate the Conference and start theconference with a session on Wisdom Based Mindfulness from the Buddhist tradition.
