On last week, grade 7 went to a field trip called ‘Week Without Walls’ to Telunas. The trip lasted for 5 days, starting on Oct.
26th monday, and finished at Oct. 30th Friday. In this trip, they couldn’t use any technology, so they learned how to have fun without their phones, tvs, and computers. They also learned about friendship, about honor, and how to work in teams. They also had lots of fun together, and they got to
know more about each other.

building for art and technology next year. Swa teachers and
students are looking forward to make this building done!!

WHAT’S HAPPENING OUTSIDE INDONESIA
K - POPK - Pop is a musical genre consisting hip hop , pop,R & B music originating in south Korea. Singers who sings K-Pop are called ‘ idols.
In addition to music, k-pop has grown popular among young adults and teenagers around the world. resulting in widespread interest in the fashion and style of Korean idol groups and
singers. For an example, there are super junior , there are 600,000 fans ( only
counting korean fans) who actually pay to be fans. They join this fan club, and they have to pay every month, to get good seats
at concert, and stuff like that. Super Junior

has more fans that are not koreans. They have Japanese fans, taiwanese fans, and some of other fans in different kind of countries. Super junior’s songs are Miracle, Twins, You are the one, Endless Moment, Mr. Simple, A- cha and there are lots more. Hee Chel, Lee Teuk, Kang In, Ryeo wook, Ye seung, Ki Bum, Si
won, Han Geng, Sung Min, Eun Hyuk, Dong Hae, Kyu Hyun, and Shin Dong are the members of Super Junior. They had their first music done on November 6th 2005. As I said before, there are 13 people in Super
Junior, but for some reason, 3 of them can’t be on concert, so only 10 people are singing. I hope that Super Junior and other k -pop singers like FTISLAND, BIGBANG, and others can get more popular.

TURKEY EARTHQUAKE

On october 23rd, there was 7.2magnitude earthquake in Turkey.
According to InteriorMinister Idris Naim Sahin, nearly
1000 buildings got destroyed.
Also, there are 265 people dead and 1,140 people injured. The death toll is expected to rise
highly while more and more areas are getting reached.

FTISLAND COMEBACK ALBUM : MEMORY IN FTISLANDK-pop singer FTISLAND
comeback with an album called ‘ Memory in FTISLAND. This is a remake album, which
has old songs in it, but they sing it in
different ways. It has 4 songs in total. The album’s title song is ‘Like a bird’. Vocal is Lee Hong Ki, and
Song Seung Hyeon is doing rap in this song. They are going on TV music programs like ‘Music Bank’.

vs.Before the creator of Apple, Steve Jobs died, korean electronic
factory Samsung, and Apple were on fight. They lawsuit each other for tracing each other’s phone design. First, Samsung lawsuited Apple for tracing thier design but then, Apple got a patent for ‘Slide to unlock’ program. They are still on fight right now.

Taiwan Flood
Flood waters from Typhoon have swept an entire building in the village of Southern Taiwan. Footage from Saturday, which has only just been released, shows the three-story building collapsing and being washed
away. The taiwanese army’s special forces have been evacuating villagers in
the affected areas by helicopter.
Snowstorm hits US east cost
An unreasonable snow storm has hit the US east cost with some areas like Massachusetts seeingmore than 68cm of snow. The authorities say
at least 9 people died from snow-related accidents. More than three million homes have lost their electricity supply from Maryland to
Massachusetts - some residents may be without power for several
days.The snowfall eased on Sunday, as the storm headed north from Maine.
