PERSONAL PHONE CALLS
POLICY-- It is the policy of the Ivanhoe Club that the telephone facilities provided by the Club are designed to handle calls pertaining to business and for the convenience of our Members. The use of Club phones by employees for placing and receiving calls must be restricted. The following procedures have been established for personal calls.
– Personal calls/texting should be made during rest periods and meal times only. If it is necessary to make a call or text during your work schedule you must have your supervisor's permission to make the call or text.
– Messages only are taken for incoming personal calls for an employee. Messages will be forwarded to you so you may return the call during a break.
– Only phone calls of an emergency nature will be forwarded to an employee during service hours.
– Club phones are restricted for long distance calling.– Telephones on the 1st floor are restricted to Members use
only.
– Line employee’s cell phones are to be turned off and out of sight during work hours unless special arrangements have been made with management.
