What is a Rubric?
A rubric is a clear summary of how you will be graded on a particular piece of your work. Each trait will be scored on a scale from 1-5. A score of 1 is low and a score of 5 is high.
Rubrics are beneficial because they provide a better picture of your strengths and weaknesses in the area of writing.
After you complete the AWA, your assessment is sent to an outside testing service. This service uses the following rubrics to grade your assessment.
