Milestones of my ‘journey’ from the beginning until now…
I was born in the ‘heart of Europe’
in the Czech Republic
English (4 years)
German (4 years)
A Year after the ‘Velvet Revolution’ I finished a Primary School and studied
a Secondary Grammar School, having 2 foreign languages
Being passionate about languages since my early age, I took an opportunity
to study a ‘One Year English Course’ and completed it successfully by passing:
Hungry for travelling, adventure and experiencing life abroad, I went to Israel
to work in a ‘moshav’ for 4 months
Returning back to the Czech Republic, I entered the Tomas Bata University
and their new attractive Bachelor’s programme: Marketing and Social Communications
Continuing a Master’s programme: Marketing and Social Communications,
I worked on the successful university projects ‘Literary May 2003’ & ‘Literary May 2004’
Taking 2 summer holidays as a chance to gain new experience abroad, I went to Scotland to work on the farms
*Then I travelled the country, meeting locals and discovering their natural heritage
Having my first job after university, I worked as a Brand Manager at DUKAT INC a.s.
(Tea & Instant Drinks Producer)
*Among others, I developed & launched a new Tea brand ‘Lahoda’ onto the market
Back to the Tomas Bata University,
I got a position of Manager at the Marketing & Communications Department
*Among others, I prepared a campaign for potential University students (focused on the Secondary schools)
*I was also creating, organising and producing
various Events and Projects, for example: Exhibition of ‘Samuel
Beckett: Life and Works’ Opening ceremony of the new Regional Education centre in Uherske Hradiste
Touring exhibition featuring Congress and University Centre (KUC) Zlin
Illuminating the University Christmas Tree (regular annual event for students and employees)
Going abroad in search of a new ‘path’, I lived & worked half a year
in Zakynthos, Greece
*I was supporting ‘Archelon’ – the Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece
Further move and settling in Dublin, Ireland, I worked in the Great Outdoors
*And was doing many ‘outdoor’ activities
Three years after back to Czech, thanks to my TEFL Certificates from Dublin
I was teaching English at the Lingua Language School
‘Daily courses‘ (larger groups of young adults)
Business English courses (in-company classes of various levels & demands)
Evening courses (for Beginners; with preparation for FCE)
One-to-One courses (individual professionals of various levels & demands)
Returning to Ireland, I have been working
in the Patagonia Outlet Dublin
*And I studied the following courses
1. Diploma in Event Management with PR, Eco-Events and Wedding Planning Module @
2. Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing - FETAC Level 5 Certificate
in Internet Marketing @
After successful passing of these courses, I gained practical experience as
1. Events, Marketing and Social Media Assistant (Volunteer
position) @
*I worked on logistics of their annual signature event Dublin's Good Friday Concert 2014'
2. Marketing and Sales Assistant (4 months FTC) @
*I worked in 2 strategic areas: Brand Management and Trade Marketing
(NPD process, Social Media & Website Analyses and Advisory)
