1 Introduction The Mikron Sharing Center is a tool that allows you to facilitate collaboration between internal and external users with customers and suppliers. It allows the exchange of large files like a traditional FTP site. This tool, based on the Web, adds numerous features including versioning, adding comments, the establishment of temporary connections, as well as a complete management of access rights, etc... This document describes the basic functions of the service.

First of all, it is important to note that this is a tool to exchange data, and not an instrument of permanent storage. Concretely, the saved data will be deleted automatically (without notice) after a certain period of inactivity, depending on the type of folder. (Information also available in the Properties of the folder itself). Example:

storage time space available Folder Projects 360 days 2 Gb Folder Supplier 180 days 2 Gb Folder Personal 30 days Unlimited Folder Departments 180 days Unlimited

It's important to remember that does not run any backup of the data. Therefore, please carry out yourself a backup, if necessary.

    2 Prerequisites

2.1 Http Interface The Mikron Sharing Center is compatible with most Web browsers both in Windows and Mac The following browsers are supported:

2.2 WebDav Interface The interface allows you to connect to the site as you can do with a standard FTP accounts (with a WebDav client or via the Windows Explorer). The usage of a WebDav client is recommended to sending large files (several GB) and in large quantities, because it also allows the recovery of sending in case of failure. It’s also possible to upload and download documents from and to the Mikron Sharing Center directly from Apple devices (iPhone) and Android. WebDav Client Compatibles:
