With over 10 years in

the field of mental

health I bring a

unique form of

problem solving strategies and

psychotherapy in a comfortable

down to earth manner for children,

adolescents, and adults.

I specialize in men’s issues/male adolescent populations and the challenges they have in expressing emotion, managing anger, and interpersonal communication. Men become comfortable with and learn the benefits of therapy rather than holding on to old stereotypes.

I also work individually with women dealing with anxiety, loss and relationship issues. With an emphasis on strengthening relationships and self-esteem, therapy is designed for people searching for a more balanced approach to working through change.

I offer family therapy, have extended success connecting with male and female adolescence whose behaviors have been labeled oppositional or explosive, and work with parents/families who struggle with how to relate and communicate with their teenager and each other.

Client’s gain insight into them selves while increasing self-awareness and find solutions. Clients can learn coping skills to control emotional impulses and learn relaxation from a therapist who has spent 15 years studying and practicing meditation in a variety of different spiritual and theological traditions.

Clients have opportunities to formulate a holistic plan that fosters, self-care, exercise, nutrition and cultivation of the mind and body to strengthen defenses and manage negative emotions.

Therapy is available for:Anxiety, depression, ADHD, bi-polar, Learning disabilities, Oppositional defiant disorder, symptoms related to past trauma, family problems, substance abuse, PTSD, reactive attachment/adoption issues, loss and many other mental health issues.

Past work environments:Boston Medical Center, South Shore Mental Health (Boston Outreach Team, Bay View Clinic) Justice Resource institute (Victor Alternative High School) and a field placement at Ad-care substance abuse hospital.

Sub specialty:Alternative learning styles/disabilities, Students on Individual Education Plans/assistive technology.
