SMARTEN YOURSELF
“There are 3,345 Engineering colleges in India, out of which 1.5 millionengineers graduate every year. To top it all, there are not even enough companiesto accommodate this 1.5 million.”
What did you decipher from the above said statements? Do they sound scary?Well, you should be scared only if you have Numerophobia- fear of numbers; forthese stats are mere numbers and you should never let these define you or yourfuture. There is always a huge demand for smart people. How do you know if you’resmart or what should you do to become smart?
`
Know what you want. Analyse yourself and find out what you’re good at. Be itturbines, transformers, integrated circuits, coding, management, marketing,designing or writing that interest you, train yourself in the field you like, for thereare millions of companies out there waiting to hire you for anything and everythingyou’re good at. Make sure you focus on what you’re aiming for. What if you don’tknow what you want or what you’re good at? Grab the opportunities that come yourway. Enter every possible door that opens out to you, and then try and give yourbest.
Once you are ready, you would submit your applications and give interviews.It is very important for you to know what you should and should not do in aninterview. Dress properly, be confident, greet your interviewer with a smile, sit afterthey ask you do so and the etcetera, are iterated and reiterated a thousand times.Though all these are also vital, let us, for now, walk away from these cliches andtalk more about what others you should do.
1. Being confident is good. Being overconfident is not. If you act overconfident, youare likely to lose the confidence of your employer.
2. Look into the eyes of your interviewer while talking. Looking elsewhere isdefinitely not going to help.
3. Do not become desperate for the job, or at the least do not showcase it. Here’san example:
Interviewer: Are you willing to work on weekends or take up night shifts?
Candidate: Yes sir, I can work for you and your company at any time and anyday.
This will evidently show your employer that you are very badly in need for a job.This answer is still good if you are actually willing to work any day and any time.This might probably get you the job, but do remember if you set up expectationat the very beginning, you will have to keep up to that expectation for the rest ofyour days there.
4. Never lie; neither in your resume nor in your personal interview.5. Keep your tone formal. Also remember, adding sir/madam in every sentence is
not being formal. Your thoughts and speech should be formal and mature.6. Get a thorough knowledge about the company and the post you’re applying for.
You should be able to answer any question based on that.7. Talk to the point. There is no use beating around the bush.8. Be spontaneous. Do not make up your own answers. If you do not have any
answer, it is always better that you just apologise.9. Prepare a few questions about your role or the company, so you can ask back
the interviewer once they are done with their questions.
`
Prepare yourself, and get ready to give your interviewer your best.

CHALLENGES OF TEACHERS IN THE 21ST CENTURY
Doesn’t it strike us that before us there lies a fruit (of knowledge) which isbeing focussed by greedy as well as hungry eyes, ready to be grabbed by twodifferent categories of million hands, and we could do very little about it. The air isheavy: each and every one of us could feel the intensity of doing justice to theprofession - To share the fruit equally between the two greatest but contrastingcommunities of the nation.
The first – the established and the creamy layer, who are extreme curious to
have access to global knowledge to capture the whole world with their imagination,
to give their contribution to NASA & Silicon valley and make the hearts swell with
pride, happily neglecting the moral ,ethical and humanistic values in their frenzied
pursuit of success, resulted in serious man-made crisis.
Sadly – The second – About 480 million children, the world largest population
– who don’t have a bright future to which they can look forward with confidence,
who don’t even acknowledge that they are denied with what they deserve. To them,
the moral, ethical and humanistic values are of least importance as they feel that
they do nothing to enhance their livelihoods.
This clash “Well fed” versus “Under fed” pose a great threat to the present
society and the entire focus is now turned towards the ‘Teachers’ – who are
supposed to tackle this greatest challenge of the century. Neutralizing the
differences without any compromise in upholding ethical, moral and humanistic
values is the need of the hour and that is what our ‘Z’ Generation of super power
India looks for.

YOUR (SELF)
Once upon a time, there was a cobbler who was very busy.
He lived in a large village and was the only cobbler in town, so he was responsiblefor repairing the boots of everybody else.
However, he didn’t have time to repair his own boots.
This wasn’t a problem at first, but over time, his boots began to deteriorate and fallapart.
While he worked feverishly on the boots of everyone else, his feet got blisters andhe started to limp.
His customers started to worry about him, but he reassured them that everythingwas OK.
However, after a few years, the cobbler’s feet were so injured that he could nolonger work and no-one’s boots got repaired.
As a consequence, soon the entire town started to limp in pain, all because thecobbler never took the time to repair his own boots.
I wrote this to illustrate a simple principle that is so often disregarded.
If you don’t look after yourself, after a while you’ll be no good to anyone else either.Your best intentions will mean nothing and you’ll be unable to do what you’re meantto do.
This goes for pastors, leaders, social workers, teachers’ even parents.
If you don’t take the time to care for yourself, no-one else will.
I’m not talking about living a self-absorbed existence.
I’m talking about making sure that you have the energy and focus required tosustain your performance in the years ahead.
I’m talking about fixing your boots.
Are you looking after yourself?
If you keep going without making any changes, will you eventually burn-out?

Time Is PreciousWasting your time
Will only give you sorrow
If you save your time
You will see a bright tomorrow
Today you are young
Tomorrow you will be old
So why waste your time
Which is more precious than gold
Be aware and work all the time
And invert all hopes till you shine

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Women Empowerment means emancipation of women from the vicious gripsof social, economical, political, caste and gender based discrimination. It meansgranting women the freedom to make life choices. Women Empowerment does notmeans “deifying women” rather it means replacing patriarchy with parity. In thisregard, there are various facets of women empowerment.
Swami Vivekananda said “There is no chance for the welfare of theworld unless the condition of women is improved. It is not possible for abird to fly on only one wing”.
The welfare schemes such as swadhar (1995), swayam siddha (2001) etc.,for developing the power of women.
In the process of empowerment, women should consider their strengths andweakness and move forward to unfold their own potential to achieve their goalsthrough self development. In our country, empowering women through enterprisedevelopment has become an integral part of our development efforts due to threeimportant advantage entrepreneurs, economic growth and social stability.

QUANTUM COMPUTER ARE ABOUT TO GET REAL
What is Quantum Computer?
A quantum computer is any device for computer that makes direct use ofdistinctively quantum mechanical phenomena, such as super position andentanglement, to perform operations on data.In a classical computer, Information is stored in as bits; in a quantum computer, Itis stored as qbits (quantum bits).
Why the need of Quantum Computer?
In a world where we are relying increasingly on computing, to share our informationand store our most precious data, the idea of living without computers might bafflemost people. But if we continue to follow the trend that has been in place sincecomputers were introduced, by 2040 we will not have the capability to power all ofthe machines around the globe, To prevent this, the industry is focused on findingways to make computing more energy efficient, but classical computers are limitedby the minimum amount of energy it takes them to perform for one operation.
Now let’s go into the main stream of our titleGoogle, IBM and others are developing quantum computers. IBM has made its five -qubit computer accessible online for free, and the company is planning a 50-qubitcomputer for commercial use.
`In 2013, Google and NASA bought a quantum computer, names as “D-WAVE”,
“The D-WAVE took about a hundredth of a second; with a classicalcomputer it ‘take about 100 days”
The team of computer scientists behind the D-WAVE at NASA and Google released ascientific paper on a recent test of the machine. They found that it could crunch ahighly specialized computing problem roughly a hundred million times faster thanconventional computer could do. (That’s Quantum Speed)
D-WAVE:
In person, the room-sized D-wave two gurgles and rumbles a low tone, almost like arefrigerator working overtime.
To harness the quantum effects on the super conducting material that makes up themachines 1,097 qubits, the D-wave guts are kept at almost absolute-zero, about150 times colder than deep space.
“A succeeding each other. A quantum computation is like a symphony-many lines of tones interfering with one another.”
Classical computation is like a solo voice—one line of pure tones
Advances at Google, Intel, and several research groups indicate thatcomputers
with previously unimaginable power are finally within reach....

MACHINE LEARNING
INTRODUCTION:
Machine learning is field of computer science that gives computers the abilityto learn without being explicitly programmed. MACHINE LEARNING is closely relatedto computational statics, which also focuses on prediction making through the use ofcomputers.
Arthur Samuel an American pioneer in the field of computer gaming andartificial recognition and computational learning theory in artificial intelligence.
Machine learning is way easier than it looks it’s easy to believe that machinelearning is hard. A arcane craft known only to a select few academics. After allconclusions about the world.
`MACHINE LEARNING LANGUAGE:
PYTHON is a class-leading machine learning system that gives user directaccess to predictive analytics, therefore proving itself to be the world’s foremostdata science languages.
USES OF MACHINE LEARNING:
Machine learning is a core sub-area of artificial intelligence; it enablescomputer to get into a mode of self-learning without being explicitly programmed,When exposed to new data these computer programs are enable to learn, grow,change and develop by themselves.
The interactive aspects of machine learning are important. Because as modelsare exposed to new data, they are able to independently adapt. They learn fromprevious computations to produce reliable, repeatable decisions and results.
CONCLUSION:
With the rapidly increasing scope of machine learning, businesses andresearches often need to consult machine learning experts for help with writingalgorithms and developing effective AI solutions. Machine learning has become apowerful tool and promises to grow well into the future.

Nest smart Thermostat:
The Nest learns your family‟s routines and will automatically adjust thetemperature based on when you‟re home or away, awake or asleep, hot or cold, tomake your house more efficient and help you save on heating and cooling bills. Themobile app allows you to edit schedules, change the temperature when you‟re awayfrom home, and even receive alerts when it looks like something has gone wrongwith your heating or cooling system.
We MO smart plug:
We Mo connected home devices in the Switch, a smart plug. It plugs into aregular outlet, accepts the power cord from any device, and can be used to turn iton and off on a set schedule or when you hit a button on your smart phone.Another model of smart plug, the Insight switch, also monitors how much energyyour devices are using, helping you make your home more energy-efficient. You cansee when the plugs are on, how much power they‟re using, and set schedules foroperation right from the mobile app.
`Philips Hue light Bulb:

With this smart lock, you‟ll never need keys again—it unlocks automaticallywhen you get home, and locks behind you when you close the door. You can grantguest keys to friends or the dog sitter, and have them expire when you no longerwant to give that person access to your house. An optional keypad means you canset a code to open your door in case you don‟t have your phone with you (like ifyou‟re out for a run). You can even view the activity log and grant access from yoursmart phone remotely.
Health patch health monitor:
It can be used for out-patient care by healthcare providers, letting them getECG, heart rate, respiratory rate, skin temperature, body posture, fall detection, andactivity readings remotely. This can alert doctors to potential health problems beforethey arise, or give them additional insights into which treatments will be mosteffective for their patients, even when their patients aren’t in the office.

CHILD LABOUR
Not all children in India are lucky to enjoy their childhood. Many of them areforced to work under inhuman conditions where their miseries know no end. Thoughthere are laws banning child labor, still children continue to be exploited as cheaplabor. It is because the authorities are unable to implement the laws meant toprotect children from being engaged as laborers.
Due to high poverty and poor schooling opportunities, child labor is quiteprevalent in India. Child labor is found in rural as well as urban areas. The 2001census found an increase in number of child laborers from 11.28 million in 1991 to12.59 million.
The conclusion for this is, the government should bring down the incidence ofchild labor through reform and investment in education. Homeless children shouldbe provided housing through the SarvaShikshaAbiyan boarding schools, and lawsbanning child labor should be more strictly enforced.

5G
London will be ready to host the fifth generation of mobile telecomstechnology by 2020, according to Boris Johnson, the capital’s mayor. 5G technologypromises mobile data speeds that far outstrip the fastest home broadband networkcurrently available in the UK.
With speeds of up to 100 gigabits per second, 5G will be as much as 1,000 timesfaster than 4G, the latest iteration of mobile data technology.
`Whose employees are often on the move.
3G does not have the capacity to cope with modern mobile working demands.Workers in urban centres often feel the effects the most, with slow and sometimesnon-existent mobile connections common in peak hours. Because 4G networks havehigher base speeds, they experience less of this peak-hour strain. There is morethan enough capacity to share for core services, such as e-mail and web browsing.
5G will make communications so fast they become almost real-time, putting mobileinternet services on a par with office services
On top of this, 4G provides an additional speed boost for increasingly importantbusiness services, such as mobile video conferencing and cloud computing. 4G alsoallows for cost-effective, stable international calls on data calling services, such asSkype, even at peak times.
It will provide greater network stability to ensure that business-critical mobilefunctions do not go offline and the speed necessary to give employees a fullyequipped virtual office almost anywhere. If broadband services do not experiencesignificant uplifts in speed, 5G might even prove to be a cost-effective alternative tofixed-line services in ten years‟ time.
`Mobile data could prove to be the answer for businesses that operate outside thereach of broadband networks or suffer from slow fixed-line service. Because the costof putting up mobile data masts is far lower than installing fiber optic cables,operators may well decide that 5G is speedy enough to be used to reach rural areasas an alternative to fixed lines.

POEMS
TEACHERS
God understood our thirst for knowledge;
And our need to be led by someone wiser;
He needed a heart of comparison,
Encouragement and patience;
Someone who would
Accept the challenge regardless of the opposition;
Someone who could Zee potential
And believe in the best in others;
So he made teachers..

`NATURE
The sight of the hills is a beauty
The bright moon is the sign of purity
The flow of the river is murmuring music
The act of the sun is so philanthropic
The rain of the clouds is very refreshing
The blowing of the wind is so smoothing
The roaring of the ocean has its own reason
How charming is the changing of the season!
DREAMS
Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged birds, that cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams for when dreams go,
Life is a barren field frozen with snow.

SECRET OF SUCCESS
Man needs life,
Life needs ambition,
Ambition needs discipline,
Discipline needs self-control,
Self-control needs self-respect,
Self-respect needs honesty,
Honesty needs great attempts,
Great attempts needs enthusiasm,
Enthusiasm needs achievement,
Achievement needs self-confidence,
Self-confidence is the secret of success.
EDUCATION IS POWER
A wonderful art master it,
A colourful dream enjoy it,
A sweet fruit eat it,
`A melodies music hear it,
A everlasting power to shine in the future,
A bird cannot fly without broken wings,
A kangaroo cannot jump without legs,
A gun is worthless when it has no bullet,
Like that man is worthless and powerless without EDUCATION.

TRY, TRY AGAIN
This is a lesson you should heed,
If at first you don’t succeed,
Try, try again;
Then your courage should appear,
For if you will preserve,
You will conquer, never fear
Try, try again;
Once or twice, though you should fail,
If you would at last prevail,
Try, try again
If we strive,’tis no disgrace
Though we do not win the race;
What should you do in the case?
Try, try again;
If you find your task is hard,
Time will bring you your reward,
Try, try again;
All that other folks can do,
Why, with patience, should not you?
Only keep this rule in view:
Try, try again.
